In a hypothetical world, If the choices were within the Fins control, would your preference be to grab Kyler Murray in this draft, wait a year for Tua Tagovailoa or wait it out 2 years for Trevor Lawrence, billed as the best QB prospect ever? Or draft someone else, already known or yet to be identified this year or next with perceived high potential?

Wow!! I am shocked that there is yet another post about the same thing that has already been discussed ad nauseum on this board since the season ended. :dead:

I say other....

Do all 3....worst case... too many good QB's..... but then again, as rookie contracts expire it keeps a good QB on the team for years with trade bait options.... QB?...check...salary cap?...check

Silly scenario really...but while we are fantasizing that we could even begin to plan and implement such a strategy why not?

If they have a conviction that Murray can be the guy then you don't wait. You overpay if you have to in order to get him.

If there's one position you don't try and get cute with it's the QB position.

I think if Arizona passes on Murray there is a good chance Murray slips to #13

Why are you shocked?... (unless your post is sarcasm)… that is what happens here more often than not... lol there may only be maybe a dozen different topics in this forum... new Title same messages

I chose Lawrence in 2021, just because I think he'll be the best NFL QB. This also gives the Dolphins a couple years to rebuild and put together a better OL to protect him and maybe get some better offensive weapons to help him out.
