Championship or Records?

I brought it up in another thread that I would be willing to see all the Dolphins team/individual records fall to be able to see Miami finally win a Championship. While I think the records are great, and I would love to see all the records stay in Miami, I'd rather see a Super Bowl championship. It's been over 30 years since our last Super Bowl win. I want another one. I want to witness Miami winning one. So who else would prefer a championship over keeping all the records?

EDIT: This is hypothetical. Keep the records and NOT win a Championship or lose the records if it means a Super Bowl victory.
 
I voted for the records one but only because it looks like were on the road toward a superbowl in the next few years and I would like to keep the records.

I realize we're on the road to the Super Bowl. BUT the point is (hypothetically), would you prefer we keep the records and NOT win a Super Bowl or let the records fall and win a Championship?
 
I emphasize the records, probably because I was there to witness (and now savor) them. I was very happy New England lost today. Not 1% because it gives us the division lead early in October. That loss ended the Pats 21 game home winning streak. Our record holds! I think it's 30 or 31. In the last decade or so many teams have gotten into the 20s before losing; Green Bay, St. Louis and now New England.

I don't remember the undefeated season. BUT I grew up watching Marino and he was my childhood hero. And I love the fact that we are the only team to ever go undefeated. BUT I would still rather have the Championship then keep sweating who will break this records or that. I respect others' opinions. But I want a SUPER BOWL VICTORY.

Basically I'm asking what is more important in your opinion.
 
once again, gotta love marino, but all hes got are numbers. I'd take the ring any day.
 
Tough call. I chose the championship. On the bright side, that record is a tough one to beat. There have been some great teams since then, (Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers, Pats..) and none of them have been able to do it yet!:tongue:
 
hm..if i had to chose i would have to take some time on it but since its hypothetical ill chose Superbowl, but i would miss the olny team with a Perfect Season
 
Luckily, in the real world we don't have to choose. We could have both very easily within 3 years, if the Colts lose at least one game this season.
