I think we can all agree that Jarvis Landry was Tannehills previous favourite target considering he caught 100 passes a year.

But now that Landry has departed those 100 targets are going to need to be distributed elsewhere.

    Who’s it gonna be?

And if you pick someone, predict a stat line.

Hard to say. I'll have a better guess during training camp. I don't think one player is going to dominate the targets/catches (at least I hope not), so the difference between 1, 2, 3 should be relatively small.

Catches, yards, or TDs? Wilson-70 catches, Stills-900 yards, and Gesicki-7 TDs.

This was hard to pick for me. I was split between drake and Parker. I went with drake in the end because I think Gase will get creative and line drake up all over the field and exploit mismatches.

BTW, the ideal would be for Parker, Stills and Wilson to get the most targets with all their speed.......once we're inside the 20 then Gesicki and Amendola

The new additions will need to build chemistry I think. This pushed me in favor of Stills. However if chemistry is a non factor, I'd choose Wilson.

I think it was more of the offense being designed to run through Landry rather than him being a favorite target.

I'm saying Parker. Would love to see them on the same page all year, like they were on those final two drives against the Rams in '16.

I have a sneaking suspicion it will be Wilson but he snags 75, not over 100. Ball gets spread out more.

you can talk about protection and i will concede our line has been **** for years, but it says something that, even though we believe the line will be markedly better this year, the majority of us still think our QBs favorite target will be the underneath slot guy. looking forward to Amendola's 9.0ypr and 6 yard catch on 3rd and 8.

Gotta go with that rookie tight end. Everyone else that could be that guy is a veteran who has not shown up enough or gotten hurt to much to show up.

So a big question is do we mean targets, reliability (no drops/3rd down conversions) or yards? I picked Stills. I like his game a lot and love the fact he took a pay cut to be with us instead of the Eagles

I think Parker will lead the team in targets. If you want him to put up big numbers you need to feed him the ball, sometimes force feed him if you have to. Everybody else could be a different player every week that steps up. I think Miami as had one of the lowest % of passes to either a running back or tight end in the league for a while, especialy since Bush and Clay were both here.

Rookie TEs rarely make immediate impacts. Tannehills previous favorites was Landry and before him it was hartline. So I think Amendola will get the most looks if he can stay healthy.

If it's NOT Parker, the season will be in the dumps. I promise you that.

Because every other receiver on this roster needs to be schemed open.

If it isnt Parker then the WR core will be mediocre. But I voted Stills as the former would involve Parker finally stepping up and I remain unconvinced

im going parker. I think Tannehill has the balls and confidence to try forcing some into DVP. Cutler forced some passes, but that's cause "F-- it! lets get rid of it" not because he had confidence it was actually going to be completed. Every week we are going to see a different potential 100 yard wr, its not going to be DVP every week and the coaches said years ago I think that that was the gameplan.

If we don't change the offensive play-calling I suspect it will be Amendola, assuming he doesn't get injured. Hopefully I'm wrong since I don't think an offense than runs through Amendola is an upgrade over an offense that runs through Landry.

I think Wilson will be Tannehill's safety valve. However, IMO, if you feel, like I do that our OL will show improvement, don't discount Stills considering that in 2016 with a low 20s rated OL, Ryan was the 2nd or 3rd most accurate long ball passer and 4th most accurate 15yds or more passer.

Stills and Parker have such an advantage in this area. Not only do they have a 2 year head start working Gases offense, but each has played 2 seasons with Ryan. WR is the hardest position to pick up on a new team or rookie, outside of QB. Not only do you have to learn the moultiple route options on each play, but also have to build chemistry with Ryan.

I think it'll be Wilson and Gesicki will be second. Wilson is more like Landry was and I think Gase favors play calling that targets the short/middle passing game.

I think in Gase's ideal offense at least three of those guys will be in the 50-70 reception range, and the rest just distributed evenly.

Good question. Likely someone in the slot, for number of targets. I voted Gesicki, but it's not likely he get the most catches.

If we're talking touchdowns, I'd say Gesicki and Stills. I think Stills had nine his last year with Tannehill.

I didn’t vote for him, but don’t sleep on Grant. He was the most exciting WR we had on the field end of the season. I think if given a fair chance he win the #3 wr spot. He knows the offense, knows Ryan, and can go to the house every play. I was shocked by his ability to break tackles last year, and his ability to go up and get passes. If he gets half of Jarvis’ targets he could pop 1000 yards. I think Wilson vs Grant in training camp will be the battle in most interested in.

I am not so sure Landry was ever RT's favorite target. You don't go into a play hoping to throw a 7 yard pass and hope your WR can turn into a 1st down. You accept that option as a last resort.

It's a tough call for me because I can see anyone of Parker, Grant, Stills or Gesicki being the top producer. I think given the various skill sets Ryan is going to rely on different guys to do different things.

No one should be surprised if Devante Parker explodes and becomes close to what we had hoped when we drafted him 14th overall. At the same time no one should be surprised if by season's end he's phased out of the offense after turning into JAG or being ineffective due to injury.

I can see Stills' consistency as a deep threat being RT's primary focus.

I can see Grant's ability to score from anywhere on the field at any given moment drawing 17's attention when he's scrambling around looking to heave a ball 60 yards.

I voted for Gesicki because it's the change in the offense we need to see.
