Nothing changes IMO.

One game at a time. Matt Moore is your QB for this game @ the Jets. Before we think about playoffs we need to worry about a division game, on the road, in what is looking like frosty conditions.

Petty made some plays in that game against San Fran, the Jets will be chomping at the bit to hurt our chances at a playoff bid.

I think he sits and only plays vs NE if it's a must win game. Maybe even just coming off the bench if Moore isnt getting it done.

I thought we would just fall short at full strength, I just dont see it happening without our qb

I dont think Tanny plays a regular season game. Even though we lucked out that it is only a sprain, sprains are no joke.

I cant see Gase rushing him back if he isnt 100%. A sprained ligament is more susceptible to injury and we would really be pushing our luck if we bring him back too soon.

6 hours ago we were wondering who would start the 2017 season for us. Well thankfully, we have our answer, its Tanny. Let's not **** it up!

If we make the playoffs AND he is 100% then I think we might see him start, but I wouldnt count on it. Wishful thinking has me picking A, but I should really be picking B.

I don't know what happens but my preference would be Moore gets us in the playoffs...2-1 or better and then Tannehill comes back for the playoffs.

I hope we can clinch a playoff spot with Moore and then RT gets his shot at a playoff game.

Ideally, we somehow beat out the patriots for the division and get a playoff home game with RT starting.

(a boy can dream)

Last night I thought Matt Moore was going to be our QB going forward. I think Matt Moore can get us to 10-6 with a legit chance at making the playoffs.

If Ryan Tannehill is cleared by the doctors to play and he wants to play -- and of that there will be no doubt -- then he plays. When that will happen, if that will happen this season, who knows?

My huge takeaway from this news is that he should be OK going into the offseason. That's really important because one of the reasons Tannehill has improved year to year is that he goes during the offseason and works on his craft and gets coached up and reinforced on his throwing mechanics. This keeps momentum going in the right direction.

Well, I answered before I found out he only has a sprain...so would like to change to the option that he comes back for Pats...

Just get in the dance and anything can happen. The best QBs or the teams with the best record in the NFL in the regular season, more often than not, do not always win the big game!

Play it out with Moore and see what happens. No reason to risk TH long term and Gase has all of my confidence that he can make it work with Moore.

I will support Moore like I have supported Tannehill as he's the QB of our team. After last week I felt we could go 0-5 to end the year and I said I didn't trust our defense. Yesterday the defense played very hard and I have to give them credit for it. I believe the rain played a part in it but still, the pass rush was there and they play better. We can't just depend on what Moore will do or not do. We need the whole team to play good in order to win. We need the o-line to play better. Tannehill had 3 TD's yesterday but we had no running game. Going up north the weather will be bad and we'll need to be able to run it. The defense will need to bring it and the ST's will have to contribute or at least not lose it for us. We're a team. Together we stand!!

Ozzy rules!!

To be honest, I think Miami falls a little short of the playoffs. I think it was going to be tough with a healthy Ryan Tannehill and got even tougher with the news that Mike Pouncey is done for the season.

Pouncey meant so much to the Dolphins running game. When he was healthy the running game really took off. We've all seen what has happened since.

That's the unfortunate part. Miami needs to run the ball really well and play stellar defense the rest of the way. San Francisco had a lot of success with Carlos Hyde running the ball against the Jets so that's a positive and Buffalo's rushing defense looked bad last week.

I think the Dolphins finish 9-7 and just outside of the playoffs, but definitely on the right track considering that ugly 1-4 start.

Agree 100 percent. Gase is protecting his players and looking long-term. I don't see anyway that Tannehill comes back this year.
