I'm curious for your thoughts because I'm not sure which to choose. There are four glaring problems with this year's team, and here's my rationale for each nominee:

FREROTTE - Looked good in the opener but has stunk it up since. Stares down receivers too long (a la F***ey), makes bad decisions (a la F***ler), and is inaccurate with the ball (a la Lucas). This line is protecting him far better than last year's did and he still can't produce touchdowns. I will be p*ssed if he is still our starter after today.

CHAMBERS - He had 6 catches for 69 yards and 2 TDs today. He also had at least three bad drops that would have doubled his yardage and added another TD. He has the gall to complain publicly that Saban called him "decent." The way he has played this season, that is being charitable.

LINEHAN - Earth to Scott Linehan: You have a good run-blocking line and two elite running backs. You have a crappy quarterback and a #1 receiver who can't catch the ball. So why in God's name when we have a halftime lead at home are you calling 30 passes versus 9 runs in the second half? And why are we still in the shotgun no-huddle when we need one touchdown to take the lead and have the ball inside New England's 25 with FOUR MINUTES LEFT? Linehan's scheme may be good, but his play-calling the last two weeks has been atrocious.

HOWARD - I know the salary cap prevents us from cutting him now, but can't we at least send him home and deactivate him for the season? #25 couldn't cover a receiver if you put a tractor beam on him, and yet we're trotting him out there week after week to pad other QBs' passing stats and point totals. I'm old, white, 30 lbs. overweight, and have 2 bad ankles, and I think I would do almost as well as that ***clown.

How about who deserves the credit for the 3-6 start... since we only had 4 wins last season.

I've got to go with CC. He is the most talented player you listed who has not played as well as most fans expected him to play.

I can't blame any coach at this point. This is only their 9th game here in Miami. Anyone that is blaming the coaching is just impatient to say the least.

Chambers had a bad game today, and hasnt had a great season but how can you blame 6 losses on him? Us not being a very good team is to blame, it isnt one persons fault. But I voted for Linehan since his refusal to run is costing us imo, it isnt all his fault though

i would put Nick Saban on that list, honestly i think he (overall) deserves the most blame.

of the list, only Reggie Howard has single-handedly lost us games. While Linehan has made questionable play calls at times, he hasn't LOST us any games. Chambers's drops lost us THIS game, but no others. Frerotte has been playing pretty bad, but Howard has single-handedly lost us 4 games.

the jets game, the buffalo game, the tampa game, and it can be argued this game in that bomb to score the winning TD....

i think no other single player on our team has had such a large hand in the losses as Reggie Howard has. He obviously is not solely responsible, as everything is a team effort... but when you blow coverage for a TD, you have a pretty damn large hand in the loss...

Frerotte is the close second.

its pretty startling how much one bad CB can destroy entire games

my vote goes to the OC. in two game ending drives inside the ten, he has called 7 pass plays out of 7 plays

I vote for Frerotte with Linehan being a close second. Today's loss IMO falls squarely on Mcmike for the fumble and Chambers for the drops!

I think Linehan blew the last two games but it was close between him and howard. I swear every time a team needs a third down play they throw to whoever howard is covering but I had to go with Linehan. I thought he would have learned from last week I would have liked to see are first two plays when we were first and goal from the six be running plays.

I vote for the fans. You know every year you think all the negativity is coming from the internet fans but its not. You go to the stadium and all you hear is this bull****.

you can't blame the dolphin fans for that.

its the fans of other teams that overpower the dolphin fans. if anything, you should be upset at the lack of a dolphin fan base IN south florida.

actually, being mad at fans has nothing to do with how the dolphins play. The day an NFL team depends on its fans for the quality of its playing ability would be the day the NFL dies. we are here for support and to pay their salaries, not to make the team win.

if teams can win on the road....

I disagree. Look at it this way, if you are in a strip club about to buy a lap dance, you see two available strippers, one is dancing, smiling, having a good time; and the other is moping around with her head down; which stripper are you going to choose. Enthusiasm matters. I definatly buy the "12th man" state of mind because if the crowd is fired up, yelling and screaming you cant tell me that that has no effect on the players. Lets say Ferotte were to read this board right now. After his best game of the season he sees all the "Gus Sucks" posts, dont you think he would be a bit frustrated with the fans as well as his team?

For the record, I have been drinking. Forgive me is I am naking no sence

i picked Linehan but I think overall Nick deserves the blame since he is the coach & could override SL in late game on the line situations.

I cannot believe ppl are calling for the firing of Linehan. Honestly this is why Dolphin fans have such a bad name.

You guys really make me wonder sometimes!
