These are all guys who've been praised to some degree by Saban, the media, etc., and also based on descriptions I've read of their play in training camp. It's an odd list, I know. Some are veterans, some are rookies, some we expect superior play from and some are surprises. But I'm just going with who is excelling, based on what you guys have read/seen:

Channing Crowder. He's had an awesome camp and we'll see alot of him on the field this season.
He is not listed on your poll.

was thinking about adding him, but havn't really heard anything consistent. But nice addition, none the less

As someone who has been at alot of the camps and seen them with my own 2 eyes... I found it very hard to choose between Vernon Carey and Travis Daniels... Both have been EXTREMELY impressive but in the end... I chose Vernon Carey. I looked at it like this... Vernon is holding his own vs Jason Taylor and Daniels has been holding his own vs Chambers. But I would rank Taylor higher at his position than Chambers giving Vernon Carey the slight edge...

I said matt roth because i didnt see the person i was most exited aboutwith is ricky but matt roth is my second favorite

Like I said, this is a completely subjective list. Ricky, from what i understand, has shown flashes, but based on some reports has described his "dead legs" and fumbled at times too. I just went with who "seemed" most consistent. But thanks for the input.
Impressions from guys who've been to camp is much appreciated.

Since When Was Boston Excelling

I've read he's caught several long-passes, and is the second-most mentioned WR after CC. I also read saban giving him some praise over the weekend. He seems to have overshadowed marty a bit. That, combined with the fact I haven't heard anything negative, put him there.

again, I may be wrong. My opinions are based purelyon what i've read remotely from TO -- but I do read every bit of camp news I can get my hands on..as most of us do, I guess.

Carey gets my vote. He's excelling so far at playing one of the hardest positions on the o-line. Travis Daniels is runner up,although it was expected he'd do well since he's familiar with Saban's system (but the fact that he's holding his own against Chambers is cause for excitement)

Bostons looking good... but not better than Booker. The thing is, is that Booker isnt a flashy receiver... doesnt grab you with blazing speed... So he doesnt get much attention... but he is extremely consistant... It is very rare to see Booker drop a pass. Currently, Boston is looking good enough to grab the #3... but his hands are gunna need to gain consistancy to take the #2 from Booker...

I voted Carey, I've heard nothing but glowing reports on him from camp. Daniels was a close second. I have also heard that Boston has been "nearly invisible" so far in camp.
