You say that like Boldin is even a consideration for that kind of compensation.

As for Miles Austin - I'd do it for our 12th pick in the draft for sure... throw in a third and I'd have to think long and hard about that one.

I wouldn't let the third stop this deal from happening.

Look it under this perspective..

Are the Dolphins going to find a player at #12 who's better than Miles Austin? Who you can stick into the starting lineup in 2010, from the opening kickoff on, and say in full confidence that he's going to bring more to the table than Austin will?

If you can't say yes in the first, you sure can't in the third.

To those against this:

In 9 games as a full time starter, Miles Austin racked up more yards than Camarillo and Ginn combined. Toss Hartline's totals in there, and Austin had just 192 yards less than the combined totals of the three.

Meanwhile, touchdown-wise? Miami's leader in TD receptions was Hartline with 3.. Austin had 2 against Kansas City alone. He also scored a TD in 8 of his 9 starts.

He wouldn't be an upgrade? Really?

At day's end, it's a moot point because Dallas is going to keep him at all costs. However, to say he's not an upgrade is foolish.
