Poole's penalties irk Wannstedt

For coach Dave Wannstedt, the most disappointing thing about Saturday's 17-7 loss to Tennessee was the Dolphins' team-record-tying 14 penalties.

"A lot of that stuff was inexcusable," Wannstedt said Sunday. "I'm not going to lay it off on young guys or new guys. When you jump offside on a kickoff, you've been told not to do that since you were in junior high school."

Good, Also, he was the guy that was a replacement for Pat Surtain. I am glad it irks him, get's him mad. It's the same story every year. Week one, the average was 13.6 penalties per game, combining teams. We had 14. This team can like coach Dave all they want, I just don't see the respect there. The mentality is always off, Rookie or Veteran. Every year, on all 3 sides of the ball.

Dave is upset at the off sides penalities, well what about how upset I am about is lack of head coaching skills! The kid is going to make mistakes, but he will learn from them, and be a better player because of them!
