i feel bad he is 6'7 but under 200 lbs makes him pretty fragile, he got hurt out for season and maybe next

Livingston had an MRI exam which revealed tears in the anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligament, medial collateral ligament and lateral meniscus.

He also dislocated his patella, in addition to the previously diagnosed dislocation of his tibia-femoral.

It was pretty much a devastating injury. I would really be surprised if he comes back in the league any earlier than the 2008-2009 season. He really did some severe damage. Tough to watch.

It was pretty horrible to watch. Pictures of it are bad also, he's holding his knee and the knee cap is completely twisted.

Clippers doctors said it's the worst possible knee injury you can get. Hopefully he can come back from this and still have a successful career.

I saw that **** on Sports Center while eating, and I did not get to finish my meal.

Shame, too. I really like his potential. Hopefully, he bounces back okay, unlike guys like Jay Williams (yes, not basketball related injury) & Dajuan Wagner who looked promising and was screwed because of injury (yes, I know, different injury, different situation - but Wagner looked like an AI clone).

That was horrible to see. They played it on the radio from the game and you could tell the place was loud, but the screams from him were bone chilling. Then to see it, damn. I hope he recovers 100%.

Thank you for the "VERY GROSS" warning. I made sure to swallow my coffee before viewing that. Otherwise, I would have spit it out on my monitor. That is the most grotesque leg injury I've ever seen, trumping Tim Krumrie in Super Bowl XXIII and Lawrence Taylor ending Joe Theismann's career (that was so bad that LT was screaming for a Redskins team doctor to come over once he saw what he did to Joe). Ugh.

If Livingston were a racehorse, they would have shot him then and there.

This is not a good thing. That's the second season-ending injury this poor kid has had in a very young career, and I believe the first was a knee injury as well.

Edit: In case anyone's wondering, the most grotesque sports injury I've ever seen was Sabres goalie Clint Malarchuk having his throat slashed (accidentally, of course) by a skate and gushing blood all over the ice. I'm pretty sure that one's never getting topped.

They don't "shoot" race horses....

As for Livingstone..I feel really bad for him becaue he has the longest road back that he can have.

He will need anywhere from 4 to 6 different surgeries. Then a rest and rehab regiment for about 6 months. By the time that he will be allowed to actually pick up a basketball and do a basketball activity...almost an entire new season will pass.

He is lucky that he is young. If he were near 30 years old...this is a career ender.

So I watch it on Jim Rome is Burning and think it's as bad of an injury i've seen in a long-time. I really don't think they needed to replay it in slow motion. He's a free agent at the end of the year and still has a TON of potential so it'll be interesting to see what the Clippers do. He's only 20 so even if he misses all of next season he'll still get an opportunity.

It is sickening....

That was a bad one. Very very gory and horrific. Although, if you watch pro wrestling, a wrestler named Sid Vicious snpped his leg like a twig coming off the top rope. It was just plain awful. To top it off, the wrestler he was in the ring with was oblivious to his injury and continued to stomp and kick him while he is writhing in pain. It was disgusting.

Also, the worst injury I have seen in person was during a sparring session where a fellow pro wrestler tried to do a baseball slide, got his toecaught and proceeded turn his foot backwards snapping, breaking and tearing just about everything in his ankle/foot.

The other wrestler was Scott Steiner I think.
