Granted, it wasn't quite as satisfying this year because New England was the team that clinched it. I had a Patriots wager in that game and needed it because it hadn't been a great weekend overall. I had Canes over Georgia Tech and assorted other losers on Saturday. Luckily the main NFL system play of Tampa Bay +11 at New Orleans came through. Losing record giving 11 at home. I wish we had examples like that every week.
Maybe it will pay off down the road if we are battling Cincinnati for a wild card berth. Not impossible.
