When I was 2 in 1972 my Dad gave me a Super Bowl VII Champions stuffed Dolphin when they won I did not understand but I love it so much. He told me a story of this greatest accomplishment in the NFL at age 12 on (January 30, 1983) when I went to see them play in Super Bowl XVII in Pasadena. I never knew the story as I did not become fan till 1982 (age 12 after I watched them beat the Yets 14-0 to go). He told me that day, till (1983) no one has repeated it and he said to me it will never be it is the hardest thing to do in all sports to go undefeated and only one team ever your MIAMI DOLPHINS did it!!!! 47 years and counting boys...... It is a record that will never be broken it is just too damn hard to do in this age of the NFL. It just is.

I'm not as relieved as I could be.
I held not the slightest shred of concern that the Garroppoling 49ers were going to finish the regular season undefeated, let alone go through the playoffs and Super Bowl without a loss.

the 72 Fins were way before my time but I've seen videos and read up on them. Going undefeated has only been done one time and that was by the 72 Fins. RESPECT!
