Has anyone else noticed a ridicolus amount of pop ups and slowness to this sight????????? What can I do about this?

Bottom line is that as the site volume has grown and capacity has exceeded the systems we have, we have had to add substantial hardware and backend to handle it. The sad truth is that less than 1% of the 10,000 or so visits a day contribute to the site financially. This results in us having to run ads to pay the bills.
I would love to see enough people support the site that it isn't neccassary. If you donate or join VIP then those ads go away. Thats one of the many benefits of supporting FinHeaven.

I have 5 ad's pop up, and crashed the browser. No need to read the forums, if ads prevent you too.
Pretty bad when its either support the site, or get bombarded by ads, that crash your browser. I will check back every once in awhile to see if that policy will change.

Yeah I think that sucks. If it keeps up I am sure they are going to lose a lot of people so then they will not have to worry about it anyway.
