i guess we would have to play porter every other game, if he is going to put numbers like that, bench, start, bench....

Yeah good to see Joey come up big!!!Joey tends to play big in second half we have the triple threat Porter,, Taylor, Wake!!!

He had a nice game. Let's see how he carries it in to the next game.

And he had a good interview after the game. Said a lot of the right things. The week off certainly seems to have helped him re-focus.

I thought the entire team had great energy, a sense of urgency and bounce in their step.

I was really impressed with how he handled it and took responsibility! Then he came back and proved he want's to be a Miami Dolphin!

goes to show you sparano knows what he is doing, sometimes

Joey Porter and Cam Wake was the best package out there. They got pressure almost every time.

our pass-rushing front did a great job altogether. that's a formation we should be playing more. especially Wake. i may have missed a play here and there, but he probably got 3 to 5 QB pressures last night.

After hearing what you said to Joey playing better in the second half I decided to go back to 2001 and see if what you said was correct...here's what I found

1st 8 games.........2nd half 8 games

255 tackles....vs....233 tackles

41.5 sacks......vs....28 sacks

27 passes defended...vs....19 passes defended

6 interceptions ....vs......5 interceptions

11 forced fumbles....vs...8 forced fumbles

Every statistical category mentioned showed
that Porter had better numbers the first eight games of the season since 2001...So I believe that your statement that Porter tends to play big in the second half is just not true when compared to his first half numbers
