Hmmm......I guess my concern is would the person at the #8 spot still be around at the 12th spot. If we really want McClain then he will probably be there at #8 but not at #12. McFadden is solid but not Ronnie Brown....I don't think Joey Porter is much of a factor right now so losing him wouldn't be a big deal. But I probably would make this deal considering the $$$ Ronnie and Porter would cost us by keeping them around. I would just be upset if McClain was taken before we picked at #8.

You created an account just to say that? I would not trade away Brown like that. He's worth more if we keep him rather than trading him away.
From a financial standpoint, isn't being right outside the top 10 a blessing of sorts? We should get one of our targeted players with the 12th pick.
yeah, the contract for the 12th pick shouldn't be too bad. Knowshon Moreno signed a 5-year, 16.7 mil deal last year. if you factor in a 5 % increase, we're looking at a 5-year, 17.5 mil deal.
