As OTA's and minicamps take place, we NEED to see our areas of strength beat our areas of weakness consistently, or we have a big problem. WR's need to beat the DB's and DL needs to beat the OL.

It's pretty normal to see the DLine ahead of the OLine this early in the process as it is pretty normal to see WRs performing well.

The pads aren't even on yet . . . I don't think it means much either way this early in the process, although you love seeing guys making plays any time of the year. You also hope to see a few guys flash early on so when camp rolls around in July you have those guys on your radar to see what they can bring to the table.

More than anything, OTA's need to be about team bonding and playbook.

I'd rather the OL particularly our guards win their match ups. We know Suh is a beast so that would be a good sign for our guards

Anyone remember last year when almost everyone thought WR and DL were easily the strengths of the team, and we might be abe to run some if Mareno stayed healthy?

Ya just never know.

totally agree... defense tends to be ahead of the offense early on always... offense has a lot of timing to get down and learn throughout each other to become a unit. i just hoping everyone is becoming a team... a FAMILY!!!

That's what is surprising about our WRs winning most of the match ups. Parker in particular. Sign of a good core

Year 2 of bill lazor's offense is great, we are going to put up huge numbers this year and we will need to because our secondary is young, and to be honest coyle's defense sucks. i mean who hires a db coach from the bungals to be your dc...Oh yeah and coyle is from Staten island, the water there makes people dumb, I think it is has the largest landfill in the world. LOL

his length.... his focus on the catch, his eyes!!! gotta love!!! and so far he is doing it with consistency too, thats so huge!!!

plus, he still needs work on his routes and footwork.... improve more in the future. high ceiling!!!

Seeing several of the WR in the same numbers as our recently departed throws me off a little...

The simple concerns are both guards or the OL coach. We have had a ton of guys on that Oline and we have had issues forever so the Oline coach could be an issue. Linbackers I do not trust any of them outside of Jenkins as starters and I am not saying Jenkins is great but he is the best. Misi is limited and gets injured so hard to count on him and the rest is a bag of guesses. Sheppard did not play that much last year which says volumes to me, Tripp we know nothing outside of specials and everyone elsoe we picked up this were not drafted or free agents for a reason. Next up would be tight end. Sims gets dinged up and misses some games every year just like he did in college and we all know that Cammeron has a loose noodle that has kept him out alot the past 3 years so ya gotta expect more of the same and I do not see a legit 3rd option on the team. Corner back might be but we have a lot more bodies there with some possible talent. Our DT situation could possibly be an issue if our 2nd rounder Phillips does not pan out becasue then you just have Suh and nothing.
