Positives from dolphins patriots!

Fins looked great yesterday and have been looking much better. Granted new england is a dumpster fire. However we're now in a position where we get to enjoy Thanksgiving football because the game matters. Winning on the road in the cold would be a statement game.

Definitely a lot to like yesterday, and in the last few weeks. I've been very critical of McDaniel, but some of the things I've seen from him lately give me hope. Obviously the last two weeks, not exactly great opposition - but saw a lot to like against the Bills recently.

If they can have a good game this week in front of a huge audience, I'll really have to stand up and take notice.

I would like to see what the defense might look like with a healthy Chop, Chubb and Phillips on the edge.

Haha
You’re so spot on with your post. Some of these guys act like we just beat the Bills, it was NE 😂

Happy for the win, but so much **** to clean up. Win in GB and that’ll show me something
History tells us Miami will get embarrassed on Thursday night football. We don’t perform on the big stage.

Sure but on the other hand, aren’t they due to have a great performance?

NE was a perfect tune up game for the Packers. IF you look around, quite suddenly, we're a pretty good team. Jonnu Smith and Tua have found each other on the field and that is causing defenses to worry about something else on top of Hill, Waddle, Achane and Mostert. We also got Backham and Wright. You can't stop all that plus Jonnu!! If they deploy to pass protect we run the ball and we're good at it and have great runners. If they put too many in the box we stick in the end zone with Reek and Waddle!!
These are the games we lose almost every single time. We are coming with a hot offense and a defense that's playing good ball. It won't be a cold game, 20 is not minus 20! It will come down to mistakes if you ask me. What team is going to fumble and throw picks?? What team is going to go for it on 4th and 1 from his own 35 in the 1st quarter and get stuffed??? What team can run the ball and what team can stop the run is also a vital stat here. Pressure on Love has to happen. We should use Chop all over the place with Seiler and Campbell showing strength in the middle. We may lose but the Packers are in for a dog fight. Calais Campbell isn't flying all the way to Wisconson to lose!! I feel like Charlie Brown and the football but I think we can take them.

Another positive has been the development of the new offense. Tua is a master game manager. A phucking magician if ya ask me. This is what I've been hoping to see from McDaniel. Once the running game gets going again, the offense is going to be extremely hard to defend.
I wouldn’t call it a new offense.

McDaniel finally figured out the counters to what good teams have been doing for 2 years.

I don’t mean that “finally” as a slight. I’m just surprised it took him so long to find the right adjustments.

His counter to press man *has only* been WR screens, working on releases, and trips with very little interference. He finally added rub routes. That backs people off and he knows how to take advantage of that.

It feels good that he figured out the two deep zone, and when they saw a single high yesterday they ate it up.

I would like the running game to get back on track, but I’ve seen a lot of guys dedicated to stopping the run the last few weeks. Pick your poison.

Maybe you should start another knee-jerk reaction thread demanding somebody be cut. You know because you’re so thoughtful and level-headed.

P.S.: You know that Cobra Kai were the bad guys, right? You GET THAT, don’t you?
They were, but if you watch it with a different eye as an adult, Daniel straight up f-cked with them from the start. They just had numbers and no mercy.

Well, I've sat down and opened my paper again.

Joke of a team, terribly put together, incredibly badly coached.

Clean house.
