So I was looking back at the season. When Wilson and Grant were on the field together, magic happened. It was unfortunate they both hit IR. I think the new coach needs to think hard how to utilize Wilson, Grant and Drake. These guys are difference makers. The media dogged the Wilson signing but he was electric. We get someone in here that knows this, add a QB that can make plays happen, sure up the OL, we can do things.

I agree with your OP, but coaches that are good find a way to be good in the first 3 years with few exceptions. The decision has been made, Gase is gone. Time for us to move on. A new coach isn't going to want to tweak the mediocrity. He is far more likely to want to blow it up and rebuild with his own people who fit his own system and are loyal to him.

Wilson and Grant are fast and fun to watch but like a previous poster said WRs that size can rarely last more than a few seasons and typically miss games during said seasons. We need a bigger WR core in general imo

Then what do you think about the media (or fans) who were hyped on Ryan Tannhehill for 7 years?
All I remember from back then was that he was a raw project with talent.

Once he was here it was always a wait for his potential to match his talent.

Never happened.

I get irked when people group Wilson and Grant together.

Albert Wilson was 5'9.3" and 202 lbs at the combine.

Jakeem Grant was 5'5.7" and 165 lbs.

We need a big (or several big) receivers.

Albert Wilson is not a small receiver. He is shorter than ideal.

Jakeem Grant is a diminutive receiver.

They are physically nothing alike.

Having guys like Wilson and Grant is great. If only Parker was an alpha #1 WR to pair with them. That never happened. I can’t wait for him to be gone and for the team to finally replace him with someone worth a damn.

Fair enough. Wilson is a couple knotches above Grant all the way around imo. Don’t know I believe 202 tho??
