This short list of possible cuts are more well-known players that i think are on their way out.

First is Derrius Thompson. He drops passes left and right, and i think that boston, welker, farmer and gilmore are all better receivers. Second is travis minor. I think that the only way minor will make it will be if he is returning kicks, but welker has that under control. Third is Donald Lee. The only things that Lee is consistent with are dropping passes and fumbling the football. Also, with the sudden emergence of Lorenzo Diamond, it doesnt look like there is room for Lee.

travis minor looked better last night then gordon and ricky. i think everyones gotta stop hating him just because hes not that big. because to be honest, other then that, no one has a real reason.

tru, i think minor played well, but i agree with lee and am exttremely happy about that

Rader and Diamond both played well, so yeah, I think Lee might be on his way out. Which is fine by me.

Thompson seems like a likely cut as well, but who knows?

Minor isn't a terrible back, but he's not ever going to be a #1 back either. He might have a little trade value, so I'd like to see us try and get something out of him instead of cutting him outright.

funny thing about Lee and Thompson though...they played the exact opposite in the game as what the ST reports have said...I thought that Lee played pretty well last night..Thompson on the other had looked terrible, yet all the ST reports said he's been on of the most impressive in camp (just like he's done every year he's been here)

i don't think anyone in their right mind would ever concider minor to be a #1. but hes a very solid 3rd down back. Quick and pretty reliable. just my two cents i guess. I just don't get the hatred towards him.

as for Lee vs. Diamond, we know diamonds got the more play making potential, but im just ondering whose the better blocker. If its a push, or diamond even has just slight advantage, its diamond all the way.

Lee should be gone with the other TE's stepping up and Lee dropping passes.
Thompson could go but I think he stays for at least this year.
I'm going to say Sammy Morris get's cut instead of Minor just because I think Kay-Jay Harris is a Morris clone but with more upside.

no way, morris is one of the rbs that we should keep. he is a hard runner, good blocker, and a special teams ace. From what i saw last night id be happy to trade gordon to another team.

ha, from what i saw last night gordons lost all his trade value.

Hey dwadeattack,

I totally agree. The only reason we would keep Lee is because he is a TE with experience as a #2 to McMichael, but he's a huge liability and a fumble machine

I've been camping for more than a month, no internet or any clue to the so-called real world. But some things are remarkably dependable. I tune in the Dolphin game a few plays late, and my first introduction to the Nick Saban era is Derrius Thompson dropping an easy pass over the middle. I exploded in laughter. How he manages a spot in any NFL camp is beyond belief, unless the coach delights in a guaranteed tease who excels in no-contact, no-thought drills. Thompson made my alltime worst Dolphin list at WR on this board, and I stand by that with all caps and highest decibel level. Get rid of the bum.

Thompson is not going anywhere..If he had made that catch, everybody would jump on his bandwagon.
Farmer had one great catch in a game and several drops in training camp, and all of a sudden, he is better than Thompson.

Do you guys know any 4th string receiver better than Thompson..

Donald Lee looked awful. I think Thompson will make the the team, and I think he's ahead of Boston right now on the depth chart for what it matters. Tillman started but he is absolutely terrible, he was pathetic in Buffalo, and has not gotten better, unless he's a ST star I would not want him on the roster.

kevin johnson for the lions...
kelly campbell for the vikings...
Jerry rice for the broncos...

I really do think that Donald Lee will be on his way out, he'll get released and now it seems like possibly Lorenzo Diamond will make the team. I do not how feel that Derrius Thompson will get cut, I do think that Bryan Gilmore will make the team though as well.
