Possible DT for depth

I would rather keep Shaw, or Vickerson on the team, then Russell. I want more character players at this position, along the lines of Bowens and Chester, not Russell!

Darrell Russell was a great dtackle for the Raiders when he was there...but he has had some problems..myself i wouldn't mind having him

If you thought the PC groups were out in force over Elam then we haven't seen anything yet. IF we signed Russell I have a feeling that the picket lines would be VERY long and VERY loud.

That said, the guy DOES have talent. Of course, he's been out of the league now for a while and was never know has a guy who worked out very well so there's no telling what kind of shape he actually in. Not to mention what his personal life is like now. Just because the NFL reinstated him doesn't mean he's totally straightened up. He's been a problem since day 1 in the league and even had problems in college.

I say no to bringing him in. We don't have Jimmy Johnson as coach anymore. I just don't think he's worth the baggage that comes attached and he's not exactly young anymore either. I mean...come on...how screwed up can you be to be indefinetly suspended by the NFL. The league isn't exactly known for having the greatest character people in the world and yet he's one of the few to get that "indefinite" ban put on him.

The guys been out of the league now for 3-4 years cause of many many problems...If saban picked him up i would think very less of him. I doubt he'll even look at his name sorry

There's three of us. I have been a Dolphin fan since 1970 in New York. But since coming to Cali in 1982 when I was in the Marine Corps, I have grown to be a Padre fan. When people see my car go down the road, and they se the white vinyl decals of the Padres on both sides, and then on the back of my car it has a big Miami Dolphin logo, along with SRV for the late great Stevie Ray Vaughn. They are probably saying how can he be a Padre fan, and be a Dolphin fan at the same time living in So. Cal? I will die a proud Dolphin Fan, and no one will ever take that away from me. It my biggest joy in life besides my wife and two dogs!:)
