I've seen Eddie Royals name thrown around and I wouldn't mind him.

Other than the tier 1 WRs that we have no realistic shot at like Dez, Demaryius and Cobb who else is out there that we could afford?

And what combination do you think is most possible for our WR corps to start next season?

If we dump Wallace, I'd like to see Maclin.

If not, I'd be happy w Crabtree.

No long term deals for WR in FA. Maybe test what Hakeem Nicks would want for a couple of years. Then go and get Devante Parker.

Eddie Royal's solid, but he's more of a slot guy. I'd be looking at Shorts on a prove it deal and drafting a guy in the first 3 rounds. Shorts is talented..but he certainly has injured red flags.

Crabtree is an upgrade on Hartline...but same sort of guy.

Maclin I don't think tests the market, and with Wallace on the roster it's too expensive.

I'd love Andre Johnson if he gets cut, but it'll be tough to fit him in.

I'd love shorts, especially if he could get past the injury bug. However my friend who is a browns fan said that shorts said he wants to play in Cleveland. He grew up nearby I guess

Only FA WR I want to see is Maclin (maybe to a very small degree Crabs). The rest aren't starting caliber Ave wouldn't add any value to our team

At this point, I truly believe top dollar on a WR is out of the question . . . . with or without Wallace on the team. Just a lot of cap space on that position already and adding another 8 to 10 million dollar WR is just not very functional . . . unless you can actually trade Mike Wallace, which I don't believe you can.

You gotta dig into the 4 to 5 million dollar range and possibly nab a guy. Nicks, Royal, Nate Washington, maybe Andre Johnson plays for that, etc.

I'm thinking in a roundabout way Landry and Matthews just got a promotion to be our 1-3 receivers. Whether that'd be with Wallace or not they're our new top guys. The team might not want to sign any top FA to replace the other guys.. 3rd-6th receiver range is what we're looking for, I think.

There are plenty of options that are available there.

Royal
Hankerson
Maclin
Johnson
Douglas
Crabtree
Salas
Washington
Nicks
Britt
Brown
Lloyd
Jenkins
Tate
Smith
Moore

the two guys we released weren't serious contributors last year, so i don't think they mandate a "replacement".

I'd rather spend our money in other FA markets outside of WR, and draft a kid to compliment wallace, landry, matthews, etc...

screw FA. I know, I'm like a woman changin her mind.

1. Mel Gordon
2. Nelson Algalor
3. tyler Lockett
4. John Miller

rest defense

That offense will rock for years to come....and for much cheaper. And they will produce in this offense first year. Why? Character and multiple uses on O and special teams.

i dont think we are really going to be spending much on a FA WR... kind of hoping not too either, focus more in the draft. if we do sign a WR though, i believe it will be more down the list of a top WR in FA. many names that are being kicked around most likely wont even be released by their teams and such too.

Assuming we trade Wallace, I'd bring in Crabtree and H. Douglas for the deep threat. Take Parker/White/Cooper rd 1.

Harry Douglas is a slot WR, he's not a deep threat.

I'm thinking Cooper/White are out of reach and not looking promising on Parker. You could go Crabtree and Landry at the 1 and 2 and bring in a Douglas for the slot, but damn thats a slow group.
