I posted something like this last year, and I'm doing it again because rumors are beginning to spread around Davie, Florida again. I have an uncle who works in close quarters near Dolphin stadium and works with a few team officials in Davie, Florida. Rumors are beginning to spread in Davie and Miami that the Dolphins are planning to have one or two more Honor Roll inductees this coming year. Last year, Doug Betters and Bob Baumhower got in, in a special duel induction to honor the Killer B's.

I would like to get everyone's opinion...who would you like so see next get inducted into the Miami Dolphin Honor Roll?

Last Year some names that were brought up, and they are being brought up again, along with a few more names:

John Offerdahl, Reggie Roby, Jake Scott, Bill Stanfill, A.J. Duhe, Kim Bokamper, Don Strock, Jim "Crash" Jensen, The Blackwood Brothers, Bruce Hardy, Pete Stoyanovich

If I had my choice, I'd put in Duhe for what he did in the 1982 AFC Title game against those "green puke buckets". And Reggie Roby was a great punter, and along with Ray Guy, belongs in the Hall of Fame.

Zach and Jason we all know are going to get in when their time is done in the league...we just have to be patient with that even though we all selfishly want them in right now.

But for now, who would you all like to see get next inducted into the Honor Roll?

i'd say jake Scott or Kim Bokamper the Killer B's should be up thier as a whole. :up:

Offerdahl and Duhe. I don't know if I would rather have Zach on the wall or back on the team.

Jake Scott is an excellent choice, but he is estranged from the team. He might not show up for the ceremony.
How about, for the sake of argument, Tony Nathan? WAY underappreciated.
Earl Morral?
Bill Arnsparger?
Manny Fernandez?

Jake Scott is estranged from civilization. Last i heard he lived in the mountains somewhere.

You've got to put Crash in there...I mean you have to. I would put in;

Crash, Stanfill, Duhe, Scott, Offerdahl, and Roby

The Ring of Honor should be an extremely exclusive club. As to the guys mentioned in this thread:

Offerdahl = NO. He didn't do enough for long enough for winning teams.
Roby = NO. I loved the guy, but he was a punter. Not important enough. R.I.P.
Jake Scott = YES. If you need an explanation....
Stanfill = YES. Was a sack machine for the SB winning teams.
Duhe = YES. Career was too short, but gets infinite points for Mud Bowl.
Bokamper = NO. Fan favorite, but not a stellar performer.
Strock = NO. Come on. Let's be serious.
Jim Jensen = NO. See Bokamper.
Blackwoods = NO WAY
Bruce Hardy = NO F'ING WAY
Stoyo = NO. See Roby, but less so.
Zach = YES
JT = YES

Absolutely , Jensen should be on there.

Mercury Morris
Tony Nathan
O.J. McDuffie
Tim Bowens
Manny Fernandez
keith Jackson

Unfortunately we are going to have to wait til he retires, but Daunte Culpepper should be a shoo-in for the Dolphins Honor Roll
