Hey fellow dolphin fans, this is my first post and I may get ripped , but i wanted to give a possible option who could fit our system very well......

I live in Arizona and have seen and watched Josh McCown play for the latter of 2 years, he is a mobile, has a good arm and is accurate at throwing the deep ball and the man can take a hit.

i may get ripped for this but he would be a great option and is still young and cap flexible to sign for other positions which we desparately need.

he's a good young kid, and he does have a good arm. if he's released, he'd be someone to look at

Hey he is worth a Shot and with our draft position if we signed McCown and drafted a QB in like the 2nd Round we could def get an upgrade to our D-Line or LB Core as well as our secondary through the draft and then with that figure of $20 ???? mill under the cap we could get out LT and CB as well and have a decent QB

I like him as an option. You probably will get ripped with the "Josh McCown is garbage" replies, but I agree with you. He seems like he was the tools, and who knows what he can do outside of Arizona.

As long as he is a UFA, I wouldn't mind him or kitna to compete with Gus. However, I still think we should bring in a rookie QB. As Sage is probably done here.

So next year would be Kitna/McCown, Lemon and Gus fighting for the 1 and 2 spots, with the rookie locked at third spot or the 2nd spot if he impresses.

Well if you look at Jake Plummer given the right tools i.e running game and decent WR look at his numbers in Denver and in AZ no QB will ever get a fair chance they cant run the ball and the QB is always running for his life and you give McCown a Running game like we have and lol "decent WR" quoted from Nick and a great TE. We may not have to break the bank for a QB. and could then send our focus towards other needs

Well then we should cut ties with Gus and sign Kitna and McCown and draft a QB as well but I would love to see Mccown Lemon and rookie QB to build around I am not a McCown kool-aid crinker but with his intagibiles and what he brings to the table he would be a solid option I Hope he does sign with us

hes decent i would give him a shot but i would draft another qb incase he didnt do so well

no one's ripped you yet. He would be a great guy to bring in and compete, but we'll still draft a QB this year. Arizona should make him a good offer though because he knows their system. We'd probably have to overpay a little to get him here
