Some hope for miami to pick up slipping QB's. Reportedly Young is close to saying he will declare and Quinn wont say anything untill he sees his performance udring the bowl game and the outcome of the game so that can be a possibility as well. I believe Jacobs is going to declare as well adn that means 5 qb's in Leinart, Quinn, Young, Cutler and Jacobs alongside Pinegar as well. So now with Boller possibly, Harrington, P. Rivers, Brooks, Ramsey and such via FA. now i'd love to get the rookies through teh draft, quinn, young, leinart, or cutler first priority and this might help us get these players if teams like Jets go for proven Vets according to one of the sources i linked/made a thread for today

I'd like to see us get a QB in the draft, and not through the free agency route, unless it is someone like Brett Favre

I'd like to see both, only the FA QB gets a 2 year deal, so he can manage the team (better than gus) while the rookie learns the complete system to a T at his own pace, not getting "thrown to the sharks" like Alex Smith.

I think the best rookie possibility is Cutler. Other than that, we can get a bunch of options at FA.

I would like the same thing, but I don't think Favre would ever leave Green Bay. He would help the Phins and probably make them a playoff team and maybe a contender, but seeing Favre in a different uniform would be like if Marino would've went to Minnesota.

If we land Brett Favre... TO will be knocking on our door in a heart beat. :goof:

I know you said someone "LIKE" Brett Favre but, I couldn't resist taking a jab at TO on that statement.

Forget Farve..he's already said he won't go to another team, learn another offense and groom a young QB.

He either stays in GB or he'll retire

Favre was good a few years ago, today he's just an old man too much in love with the game to quit. I honestly hope for the pack they ask him to retire next year, because he's horrible at the moment.

I don't like ANY of those options.

me niether but ti isnt for us, it only helps us if other teams pick up those loser liek we did wthi feeley fiedler and gus while we can geet a shot via darft. get what I mean?

btw, forget favre, he is old and WONT leave GB cuz he'll stab GB in the back adn look waht marino did, before he offically retired, steelers asked him to be there starter and he declined that offer and retired a fin. I'd love eihter one of those QB's hoesntly that are in teh draft---cutler quinn young leinart.

I think another possibility would be brodie croyle of alabama. If anything he is a project, but a veteran could teach him.

Leinart - would love to have him, but i dont think we have a shot in hell of getting him

Quinn - possibly the best QB in college football. Would love to have him but I doubt he will declare. We shall see though

Young - :barf:

Cutler - This is the guy we need to draft, and he may just be available when its our turn to pick

Jacobs - Dont want him, is nowhere near ready for the NFL, and would be best staying in school for another year

Pinager - possibly the sleeper QB in this draft. Would definately like to get him in one of the lower rounds if we havent already snagged someone else

pinager is good but throws INT's at curcial points of the game. No neeed for another frerrote

John Madden: Hey Al do you know your colors, like what they make when you mix them? What color does yellow and red make?
Al Michaels: Yellow and red make, uh, orange.

John Madden: Wrong, yellow and red make green.
Al Michaels: Yellow and red make.......green?
John Madden: Yes, turns out yellow and red make green, I discovered this when I spilled yellow mustard on my red tie and it turned lime green, not orange. .

haha, i remember watching that game, that was HILARIOUS!
