I know people on here sometimes name some trades that aren't likely at all but I've been reading a lot about how porter is gone and certain receivers we may get...I say we trade tedd ginn and porter as a package. Instead of releasing porter...I still think he's worth a3rd or 4th...and go after ochocinco, or brandon marshall...i m not a big ffan of getting boldin because of the injuries...I feel like he's the ronnie brown of WRs.....thoughts?

When I see Porter's name in a realistic trade thread...I stop reading

If we could get ochocinco or marshall for porter and ginn that would be awesome but broncos don't need porter or ginn because they have dumerevil and eddie royal

Porter is not getting any value in my opinion.

Boldin would really be the best one to trade for, he wouldnt break the bank nor would he demand a ridiculous amount of picks. He isnt like Ronnie where he gets put on the IR every year. I think he is healthy enough to take a shot at him, he started 15 games this past year.

Who may i ask is going to trade with Miami for Joey Porter...he will either be released or play in Miami next year....hopfully released.....as much as i hate to say this Ted Ginn would be ok if Miami had a No. 1 and 2 reciever we all know Ginn is not a No. 1

Realistic trades....

R.Brown and throw ins like J.Porter, G.Cam for a 2nd> maybe to a team like KC who has two 2nds, likes vets and these guys would help them. Maybe Houston, Seattle, Outside shot at NYG they could want G.Wilson aswell, SD.

Rights to A.Fasano a 6th and 7th for T.Scheffler TE

P.Merling> could potentially fetch a 3rd
W.Allen> could fetch a 5th
G.Wilson> could fetch a 3rd if others are thrown in, or another pick aswell

R.Brown holds the most trade value, I can't see us outright trading picks only for players unless it's low rounds for a value player.

I think of all the possibilities I would love to see us bring in T.Scheffler TE from Denver. Denver doesn't want him and I think he could be had real cheap but would have a big impact for our offense.

This thread has turned into Madden

Your sig makes my life difficult, everytime you post, I have the hardest time staying focus on the subject at hand, I may have to talk to the mod's about bans on certain pics.. I ever get enough of that pic as much as I've seen it..:lol::lol::lol:

Joey Porter for Chad OchoCinco.
Straight up.

DEAL?

So the Steelers outright released Porter 2 years ago, when he was younger and coming off multiple productive seasons... but we're getting a draft pick for a now-older Porter who who has become flatly one dimensional.

I thought this was a thread about trades that could actually happen?

So we're supposed to deal our hot garbage for productive players?

Anytime one of these threads pop up it always involves us trading what we don't need and/or will soon release for players that are highly productive. Tell me how this makes any sense in the real world.

Ted Ginn is a #3 on most teams whereas here he's the primary option (ideally). Joey Porter is a backup linebacker on a team with linebacker issues. Chad Ochocinco is a number one receiver on more than half of the teams in the league. Same goes for Brandon Marshall.

So again, could this trade really happen?

Maybe we could get a 7th rounder from the Raiders if we inflated Porter's workout stats.

Maybe.

Maybe CB Goodman and S Hill can convince Coach McDaniels that LB Porter and TE Fasano are beasts.....we throw in WR Ginn and trade these three for WR Marshall and TE Scheffer.

Uhhh, I think I need to turn my PS3 off.......

For those that don't think Porter has any trade value I disagree. Now he doesn't have the trade value he had last off-season (when I think they should have moved him), but he does have value. With the amount of teams going to a 3-4 you can't get enough LBs that can rush the QB, and what he may or may not be able to do, he can still rush the QB. I am not defending Porter, because I want him gone, wanted it last year and want it this year. But the bottom line is he still had 9 sacks and was fighting injury all season.

I think Miami could get a 3rd or 4th for him or maybe even a conditional 2011 3rd that could turn into a 2nd. I think the most realistic trade would be the AZ involving Boldin. I think Boldin is a 3rd or 4th round value due to injuries, and Porter is a 3rd or 4th round value due to his mouth and age.
