I remember back in the offseason there was talk of players unhappy with the way the Manny Wright situation was being handled, then opening night Jeff Zgonina was inactive, there was some rumblings about that, he has been acive every game since, then there was talk of players grumbling on the Plane after the Pittsburgh game wondering if L.Shulters was still available, then there the obvious Daunte was not healthy enough to play, then you got Daunte moping around on the sideline with that whatever look on his face during the Pats game, i could probably go on, but the SUM OF THE ABOVE=The Disaster we have witnessed to this point.

the fact is this is not even a mediocre football team
we are worse then bad
hows terrible
or horrible
or horrid
or we suck

How about no balance on offense an inability to get the ball into the endzone. The secondary hasn't been great and has had it's breakdwon but if you give up 18 points a game you should be able to win IMO.

what im saying is there is possible inner turmoil on this team which is affecting the performance on the field.

There is always going to be "grumblings" when you are on a bad team. :rolleyes2

How about unless you have something optimistic to say just keep your thoughts in your own head...

2 underlying factors

Bad Coaching and Bad Personel decisions. Worse than Wanny's.

<shoulder shrug>

I would like to give Saban more than two off-seasons to undo 10 years of bad personnel moves.... but that is just me.

People have short memories. It reminds me of last year when we were 3-7 and people were calling for Linehan's head and saying how terrible his play calling was. Then the team finally started to gel, won a few games, and now the same people think he is god. I think he is a good coach, but everyone seems to forget all the disappointment and growing pains over the first 10 games of last year.

I agree with you...

I think the biggest problem we have is that we do not have any playmakers at the skill positions. Frankly, I think it is time for the Fins to get rid of Chris Chambers and Zach Thomas while we can get something for them.

CC is a #2 wr and does not rate the money he is getting much less what he is going to get next year.

ZT is going to account for nearly 7% of our cap next year. That is entirely too much for him. I know a lot of Fins fans are ZT fans and they are not going to like that position but that is just how "I" see it.

mroz, did you say the same thing about marino when he was towards the end of his career? if zach is willing to resructure his contract, then why get rid of him? he still has a couple years left of solid lb play. it seems like everyone has the what have you done for me lately mentality. but all zach does is pile up more and more tackles. sure some of his faults are realized this year, but you can agrue that some of that is due to the defensive's problems.

The reason is he may have some trade value still. He's not going to be around when the team is finally rebuilt and ready win. So what's the point of keeping him around. Unless he wants too. He's earned that.

I think we have a terrible team that is mentally weak. When is the past time we scored a convincing win on the road vs. a great team in December? We can't win in freezing weather, our Dolphins wilt like a flower in the cold and snow. It seems like our team sucks when any adversity comes it's way.
