Practice Squad
Like many others I feel the frustration of being a Miami Dolphin fan. I am not a fan that knows the Xs & Os like some others here but I thought of another reason why they may have traded Marshall. It is my understanding that the Dolphins will be using a "West Coast" type offense under coach Philbin. Correct me if I am wrong but this offense uses alot of timing routes. In my opinion Brandon Marshall is not a disciplined route runner. Receivers in this offense would have to run disciplined, clean routes. I would think if the receiver does not, this would lead costly turnovers. Possibly this played into the decision to trade him to the Bears.
I was disappointed that we only received 2 - 3round picks because B.M. is extremely talented but I could see him having trouble in the new system. I don't even know if he has played in a "West Coast" offense before so I could be wrong. I would think a quick, slightly smaller (than B. M.) and disciplined route running receiver would be ideal. I am not saying he is a #1 but Bess would probably thrive in the W.C.. Either way we will still need a #1 receiver so a hole has been created.
Please excuse my lackluster writing skills, as you can see by my post count I don't post often (but I am here reading daily).
