Now that the season's over for us, it's nice to still have a reason for a rooting interest into the post season- especially as it concerns who ends up in Landshark in February and why. I'd be curious how fellow FH'ers feel

My Superbowl preferences are:

AFC: San Diego Chargers: Rivers doesn't get the credit he deserves, but more importantly they're not the Colts who laid down for the Jest enraging their players, fans and even some Indiana legislators along the way. Fortunately the Chargers have had their number, are a more complete team, Norv isn't a great coach, but a good guy who's paid his dues to get to The Big Show more than some arrogant rookie HC and a loss by the Colts is a slap in their face for not taking the perfect season record seriously. Personally, I wanted them to end the season undefeated cause it devalues the Pats recent accomplishment and I was reasonably certain SD would handle them in the post season.

NFC: Green Bay Packers: the sleeper team few have taken seriously. Rarely has a GM been so skewered, as Thompson has for doing the right thing by letting Favre walk instead of losing their very promising QB Rodgers to free agency. If the Packers make it into the SB, that means they've defeated The Drama Queen and his Viqueens along the way which to me is always a good thing. Rodgers has put up with a lot of crap since he came in, including Bretta declaring it's not his job to mentor a young QB, and then biting his tongue a few seasons while Favre went through his annual courting and mating rituals. Rodgers is on the verge of QB elite status and it would be a good thing seeing him succeed. Despite all the hype of the Vikings, Saints, etc, IMO, The Packers are a more complete team with maybe the best defensive player in the league and are peaking at just the right time.

As long as the Jets or Pats dont win it all im happy. :)

But in answer to the question, id like Green Bay to win.

I have to deal with the Pack up here 24/7...

The last place I want the Packers is in the Super Bowl... it would cause a frenzy up here in Wisconsin... which means hell for me if I ever want to talk smack.

I would like to see the Eagles vs. Chargers.

I have always liked McNabb and I would love to see him get a ring. If not, then one for LT. :)

In the NFC I like either the Eagles or Packers

And in the AFC the Chargers or Bengals.

actually i hope the pats and jets win some games , so they will have tougher schedule and worse draft picks. i just dont want one of them to win it all, which is impossible considering welker out and brady banged up and the jets well thats self explanatory.

personally id like to see the chargers or bengals vs the saints. saints win it all. that city deserves it.

The schedule won't change regardless of how many games the Jets/Pats win. Also the draft order will only change if they make it to the superbowl. Green Bay vs San Diego works for me. I am fine with Baltimore too bc Joe Flacco is the only University of Delaware player worth anything in the NFL.

there schedule is determined already no matter wat happens in the playoffs, and no matter wat, its not worth the jets and pats going far in the playoffs to get a worse draft pick. id kill myself seeing the jets in the superbowl living in ny.

I'd love to see the Bengals actually do anything in the playoffs. It would be weird and exciting, much like the Cardinals of last season.

I would like the Saints vs Bengals both these teams have so many years of **** in them it would be nice seeing one of them win. If the Fins dont make it I usually go for the teams that normally are crap aka Saints and Bengals.

As long as the Jets get embarrassed.
Not just lose..... I mean completely humiliated!!!!!!

you mean like what they did to the bengals?

i hope the bengals remember what rex was doing last nite. after the game was locked up , he went for it on 4th, challenged the call, heavy blitzing in 4th quarter, throwing deep, he was celebrating on the sidelines all of the second half like he won the super bowl.this is all fine and dandy but not the smartest thing you want to do to a team your facing next week at their house. ive got a good feeling hes going to get a heavy dose of his own medicine.

I really want the Cardinals to win, they got screwed by the refs in the super bowl kind of like us this season.
