Wasn't 100% sure if this should be here or in General NFL or the College section, but I am putting it here since my main point is to show where Miami is in the picking order. I did all the math and calculations, so this is 100% correct following Sunday's games. As you can see though, teams #31 and #32 are both AFC teams. Of course this won't happen come the real draft, but this is where they would be ranked based on what the NFL uses for the 1st round. So, realisticly the last 12 team's spots wouldn't be determined until they are eliminated from the playoffs.

1. Houston Texans
2. Tennessee Titans
3. New Orleans Saints
4. New York Jets
5. San Francisco 49ers
6. Green Bay Packers
7. Miami Dolphins
8. Arizona Cardinals
9. Baltimore Ravens
10. Buffalo Bills
11. Cleveland Browns
12. St. Louis Rams
13. Detroit Lions
14. Oakland Raiders
15. Philadelphia Eagles
16. Minnesota Vikings
17. Washington Redskins
18. Kansas City Chiefs
19. Atlanta Falcons
20. San Diego Chargers
21. New England Patriots
22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
23. Carolina Panthers
24. Pittsburgh Steelers
25. Chicago Bears
26. New York Giants
27. Dallas Cowboys
28. Cincinnati Bengals
29. Jacksonville Jaguars
30. Seattle Seahawks
31. Denver Broncos
32. Indianapolis Colts

Miami would pick ahead of Cardinals and Ravens because they have a worse SOS.

Miami - .515
Arizona - .530
Baltimore - .570

Thnx Nubs it will be 6th by tommorow nite, the pack will eat the Vikes. The Sked is brutal for Miami, we have the Jets that we can beat!!! the rest of the teams will swallow us

I dont like where were picking. After a year we are having, top three is to my likeing.

If you read a few of my posts earlier Nubs it would have saved you the trouble of some calculations.

I said that 4 weeks ago and the FAns were ripping me all kinds

Oh dont worry Im with ya. I want #1!...lol. I been saying in different posts that in order to get better, we cant keep on winning. It takes some bad years to get better in the long hall, and as of right now, we just stink. We need our qb of the future.

Opps, didn't see you already did 1-7. Yeah, that would have saved me some time. :(

GO JETS! root for the jets next sunday night!

we dont want them to get bush or leinart!!!!!!!!!!

It sucks to say it, but if we aren't going to make the playoffs this year, I hope we end up with a top 3 draft pick. No reason to win *just* enough games to lose out on the elite players in the draft.

I say this because we need a franchise QB badly. Look at the better teams in the NFL, although there may be an exception here and there, normally the top teams have very good QBs. Falcons, Colts, NE, Steelers, Bengals, etc.

I just don't see, for example, the steelers going 15-1 last year with Gus F as their QB. Or the Pats winning a single superbowl these last four years with Gus F or Sage as the QB. So, why would we expect our coaching staff to work miracles with these guys?

We need a franchise QB in order to start heading in the right direction. Ronnie Brown and Leinart (although I am a bit concerned with his arm strength) would be a great foundation for this team for the next 10+ seasons, IMO.

But damn is it hard taking these loses, and of course I will be cheering for a win every Sunday. But after this game (WE LOST HORRIBLY TO THE BROWNS!!) its hard not to think about the future of the team, more so than whats best for right now.

I don't think is ever to early to think about the draft.I love my team and I'm always looking for way to make it better. The darft gives me hope for the future.I'd rather talk about the draft than about how bad we're looking right now anyway.

Ozzy rules!!

Things are looking good IF miami does lose to DA raiders Jets play NO and Niners play Ttitans so we can easily move to 3rd in the draft you know its sad to say that im talking like this but Sage and Gus make this team lose games biggy time
