You wanted explosive weapons for Tua-#5-Waddle, #18-N Harris,#36 T Marshall, #50-Q Meinerz C/G, #81-D Felton a blinding speedster who plays RB and receiver for UCLA, if you haven't seen tape on Felton check him out, T Hill waiting to happen!!, #123-Aaron Banks G Notre Dame, this guy is well regarded, #150-Chaka Toney Edge Penn St., #208-J Hilliard LB Ohio St. New toys for Tua-Waddle, Marshall Harris and Felton!!!! That's scary speed and playmaking ability. Picked up some o-line pieces along the way and ease into 2022 with the Bengals 1st rounder.

I'm just not a believer that Cinci will trade up and give up a 2022 #1, they are in more of a re-build then us and need every pick they have. And, having sooooooo many holes allows them to sit tight or better yet I bet they are looking to trade back as well.
I really only see a someone leap frogging up the draft a QB needy team and I would bet there will be zero trades up into the top 5 picks.
But I certainly like your draft!

Done on 2/16 - Harris at 18 might be a stretch, but did ok 36 & 37 (37 was part of the trade back to 6)

Got the mock machine to give me a close to perfect draft (think it low balled me on the comp to trade down from 3, I should get another 2nd here) but still came out with my perfect first 3 rounds if we still only have 5 picks, This isn't wha I expect the fins to do though unfortunately :(

  • I drafted assuming we snag one of the free agent WRs, reducing our need for a 1st rd wr.
  • This draft had QBs go 1 and 2, had sewell not been there I would have attempted a trade down for a team salivating at QB 2
  • Trade down would be used on best available OL and edge while still following the rest of this mock if it happened.
  • I dont think Zaven will be there at 36 but I'll take it. He is a beast
  • Landon had a concerning injury, but I think grabbing a center would be important late 2nd to 3rd.
  • Traded 81 and 208 for 87 and 128. Used both of those picks on WRs. I am very fond of both of those guys and consider them a steal. This is entirely dependent on an offseason signing at WR. Dyami gets extra yards, Whop creates space and has received for a lefty QB.
  • Took best available S, he was at the senior bowl and may have had some time with staff. Has had a quietly good career in the SEC 1613513172964.png
Not sure if this is my best because it is my first. I realize no late picks, but to be honest, thats just as well for a mock during a year when our needs are certainly more focused. I see 3 starters, 2 great depth wideouts with high upside, a potential piece at center, and one of the better players at safety in this years draft.

If the cards don't fall to us for Harris/Etienne, there are a few round 2-4 studs I wouldn't mind having on the team.

This is about my 50th "best" mock :) But I would be bouncing off my walls if this trade backing draft came to pass. FYI, before anyone says Geordie being Geordie and picking Kyle Pitts, all three Chase/Waddle/Smith had gone by the time I got to pick at 8 (my first trade down, i traded down again and risked missing out on Pitts to 12 !!)

Honestly though if we did put off the WR recruitment (assuming folks still class Pitts as just a TE) to round 2 and later we can still get some great pieces that would change this O significantly;
