Now that the Bills zeroed in on Jauron as there head coach can we say Dom Capers will be the new defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins? If we do accomplish these I will call this offseason a success so far...I've forgotten about Linehan already..way to go nick!

I wouldn't go that far, and this title is a little mis-leading. It sure looks like it could happen though.

theres still vacancies...and im sure hes going to keep trying.

Do people a favor and please change the title.

The 2nd stringer is making a mistake with that title. Tricked me!

Bro I know you intensions were good, however be careful of how you title your threads. The reason I say that is because this sounds almost like breaking news. Just for future reference.:)

I couldnt agree more, AWESOME TITLE for your thread!!!!! LOL

Alright I think everyone's made the point about the title, let's actually talk about the topic now.

I agree about Capers. It would be another solid pickup for the fins. All this experience we're adding onto the coaching staff can't hurt, and I expect us to be playoff ready next year.

Not nearly as easily as it would have been the day after, as Mularkey promptly opted to do, presenting the impression he simply wished to consult his family, in voluntarily stepping away from the HC position.

Capers otoh, has clearly shopped himself around to the numerous teams seeking HC's, and to the humiliating degree of being beat out by the likes of Dick Jauron!

Accepting a DC's role now, will obviously equate to being spurned from the ranks of Head Coach, and though it's likely for good reason, for Capers to call Nick back up, could be tougher than simply calling sombody else.

And this deceptive thread topic needs a question mark.

There are other teams needing DCs as well... and Capers & Jim Bates should be two of the hottest commodities at that position. Essentially any one of the teams that changed HCs this season could potentially be looking for a DC. I wouldn't call "Capers to Miami" a given just yet.
