Tua time!
Looks largely serviceable could use some better awareness at times but it’s a work in progress. Could use a better left tackle next to him.
Athlete looks rather average at times
I believe he did make the play no?
I see what you're saying..you're saying if he's gonna be out there he has to do what he did, which is to make the play.Yes he did
agreed on the lack of instincts inside, I think thats why all gms passed on him three times.Right that’s his assignment it’s not anything more than that. He did a good job on it.
He tackled well he just doesn’t have very good instincts inside so it’s all post snap in that regard and aggressiveness that ocs can exploit
I actually like that they didn’t follow that mantra as much as past regimes. I am a proponent of having a vet in each room.Isn't an unwritten mantra in sports to go younger and cheaper when possible?
My biggest take away was we actually had an NFL looking Offense from a concept stand point.
WRs were not running into the same 5 yard area downfield, they actually had good spacing. We had 3 20+ yard throws that were simple pitch and catch as they were all wide open. How many times did that happen last year? And the few last year where off broken plays. McDaniel is a huge upgrade over any O coaching last year. Also Welker is a legit top WR coach last year, the WR coach had never even been a position coach in college or the NFL prior to Miami and he never even played WR.

Isn't it typical that the penultimate game is for the starters to tune up while the last game is for bubble players to make their case before final cuts. If so game 2 is where we should see Tua, Hill etc. And game 3 is going to primarily be 2nd string and the guys behind them fighting for their spots.
