Honestly, yes. I hate it when the government intimidates and acts out of bounds. Whether it is local or what we see at the federal level the government is growing by leaps and bounds. It is our job to check its power...enough political stuff from me. We can agree to disagree on this.

Well I am a first a tax paying citizen and some where after that a Miami Dolphin can. I have no problem with how they served Pouncey and frankly would not have had a problem if they did it on the 50 yard line. For years Hernandez has shown to be a bad apple and Pouncey has continued to associate and support him. It is Mike Pounceys fault he got served his and only his. Save your black whisper copters and tinfoil hats for another case!

No problem. You are much more trusting of authority and government entities. I happen to think society works better when government is limited in its scope.

Dude, this is a MURDER case. Someone was shot dead. Perhaps more than one person. And if that's true, I don't want Hernandez on the streets. And if Pouncey was doing some illegal crap running guns, I don't want him on the streets either. Sometimes police cross the line and I'm no fan of the militarization of the police that's been happening. I've no doubt that they often lie about evidence to help convict people resulting in many innocent people going to prison. I think many abuse their authority and are little more than bullies. I read stories about police getting away with murder too often. So I'm no fan of the current police to public relationship. But I've read enough on this case to believe that Hernandez is probably guilty. And I'm all for the prosecution doing whatever it takes to bring the strongest case they can to trial, even if that means squeezing Pouncey.

In the end, I am more at risk from an overzealous and power usurping government than from a guy like Aaron Hernandez...example, check out health insurance premiums or the new story of the NSA using backdoor channels to snoop Google users.

Anyways, I am sorry for making the thread political. We just look at life and how it should be differently. I love our freedoms granted in the Constitution and when I see them being trampled on or looked upon as an impediment to a politician's gain, it just bothers me that is all.
 
Rest assured Pouncey will give the cops a tell all book with an army of lawyers present.

We'll i would say that it's a subpoena because they stayed instate.Hense why they did not go to RI and serve it ti him.

Indictments can go from state to state.Indictments are basically you did The "crime" or we're involved in a"crime".

He has to appear before a grand jury very rarely do witnesses that weren't a victim appear before the grand jury
 
How Mike Pouncey performs in the Bengal game will be observed closely. He is a very consistent player but off field issues involving the subpoena will probably test his ability to just focus on the game.
 
The client holds the privilege. He is free to say whatever he wants. It would be dumb to do so, however.
