Pouncey & Patterson Out Sunday?

Pouncey would be a surprise. Even with the GB issue it seems like he should be able to play?

Patterson at this point....wouldnt be surprised. Dude would be an elite CB if he could stay health for more than 1 game.

Thats crazy how he's constantly hurt at this point. My undestanding is this was his problems with the other teams he played for. He couldn't stay healthy!
 
I don't think either will play. Next man up. Garner and Carroll will have to get the job done.
They both had solid games against the Chargers. All teams have injuries, you still need to find a way to win.
 
Grimes and Patterson are the best pairing at CB we have had since Surtain was traded. really wish he could stay healthy.
 
What's really sad is that we burned two draft picks -- one a second round -- on DBs who can't play at all, it seems.

If anything sinks Ireland it will be his colossally bad drafting in rounds 2-4 and TERRIBLE job of acquiring talented depth.

There has got to be someone in America somewhere right now that can play corner better than Carroll. The guy looks completely lost out there week in week out

It's too early to judge our two rookie CBs. I think Taylor will be a great fit for the defensive scheme we play in now.
Taylor's hernia injury really hurt him to start of the year and I don't think he's in the type of shape he wants to be in physically.

Carroll makes $500k a year if I'm not mistaken. I'm pretty sure that's why he is around at this point. It's obviously not his game play. For a situational db he is fine, full time doesn't work.
 
A full Sunday game of Nolan Carroll? I'll get out my bottle of pepto for the inevitable stomach pains while watching him get burned
 
I guess it was food poisoning not the gall bladder issue previously reported.
Dolphins C Mike Pouncey (food poisoning) is listed as doubtful for Week 12.
After practicing early in the week, Pouncey was idle Friday and may have experienced a setback. He's been considering undergoing gallbladder surgery the food poisoning was so bad. Miami will be minus three starting offensive linemen against Carolina, including Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito.

Dolphins are 5-5 and Patterson has played how many quarters this season? 9-10?
Dolphins have obviously won with Carroll, but it's the guys under him that will probably get us killed this week.

LOL! Maybe Carroll's erratic coverage skills will confuse Newton into an interception or two :chuckle:
