Here they are, the Power Rankings for week 10. Enjoy :D

The Drum Roll: Huge game coming up. Not just because it is the patriots but because the whole season may rest on this game. Some are saying the patriots have an easy schedule for the rest of the season. We can't afford to let them get ahead.

Average Dolphin Rank: 20 (-1)

Next opponent:New England
Average Ranking: 14

Dolphins Rank: 22 (-1)

Comment: Right: Nick Saban has the Dolphins competing and actually in the hunt in the weak AFC East.

Wrong: Gus Frerotte is OK as your No. 2, but he's just not a starting NFL QB.

Dolphins Rank: 20 (No Change)

Comment: They played the Falcons tough, and now get a chance to get to the top of the division with a victory over the Patriots. It is time to get more out of the passing game. But can they?

Fox Sports
Dolphins Rank: 17 (-2)

Comment: The Miami offense leads the league in gimmick plays that are sniffed out within two seconds and stuffed behind the line of scrimmage. That silly double reverse where Chris Chambers lost 12 yards should probably be expunged from the playbook. NEXT: vs. NE

Comment:
Nick Saban is turning to a heavy ground game. But his coordinator, Scott Linehan, has a case of the cutes, calling all sorts of gimmicky stuff against the Falcons, none of which worked. OK, Linehan, what do you have to say for yourself? A noise like an oyster is what he has to say. Saban does not allow the press to speak to his assistants. What I say is that there is a day of reckoning coming, a Dies Irae, for these head coaches, if not in this world, then in the next one. Beware!

Dolphins Rank: 20 (No Change)

Comment: With a strong running game and a decent defense, don’t be surprised if the Dolphins make a run at the AFC East title over the second half.

bump for afternoon readers

i think #20 is about right we could be alot higher but keep killing ourselves with penalties/turnovers/giving up 1st drive tds

Thanks for that -- I hope we go with more runs and some playaction passes this game. We can't get cute against the Pats, we can beat them if we run straight up.

what gives me hope of a new era is the fact we defeated 2 TOP 5 teams at almost every ranking, carolina and denver. We're clearly killing ourselves, what should diminish with time..and next seasons....In wanny era we used to defeat just the scrubs
