The Drum Roll:
(Sorry it’s a day late. I was in training meetings all day yesterday)

A win is a win. I hope another win against the Texans provides the spark needed to get things back on track and provide the confidence boost needed to face the patriots next week. Not much of a change in the rankings. Beating a bad team like the Titans is not going move you much at all. Unless we lose or totally dominate the Texans, I do no foresee any drastic change next week either.

Later and GO FINS!!!!! :D

Average Dolphin Rank: 23 (+1)

Next opponent: Texans.
Average Ranking: 30

Average Rank for '06 Season So Far :16
'06 Season Highest Rank : 13 (week 1)
'06 Season Lowest Rank :
24 (week 3)

Espn

Dolphins Rank: 21 (none)

Comment: Is there anyone out there killing more fantasy teams than Daunte Culpepper?

CBS Sportsline

Dolphins Rank: 22 (-1)

Comment: They beat the Titans, but they look like anything but the Super Bowl contender many expected. The Texans could be the perfect tonic for their ailing offense.

Fox Sports

Dolphins Rank: 25 (-1)

Comment: How long until we start hearing the chants of “Jo-eyâ€Â, “Jo-ey†in Dolphins Stadium? Thankfully, it will be for the Dolphins backup quarterback, and not that Matt Leblanc sitcom. Speaking of total flops, Daunte Culpepper’s been a disaster through three weeks of the season. The rushing game hasn’t been much better. The one bright spot on this team? Do-everything-guy Wes Welker, who despite fumbling a punt return on Sunday, has been Miami’s team MVP.

"Play like you're in high school," Nick Saban told his team before they beat the Titans. No, no, it wasn't, "You're playing like a high school team." What he meant was he wanted them to pretend they were back in school and having fun, as they once did. The gimmick ended when one of them wanted to borrow his car and another one asked if he could watch TV before he finished his homework.

This doesnt inspire a lot of confidence seeing we only moved up 1 spot after a win. But moved down on almost everyone elses...

thanks for the info and Links though.

Never care about power rankings, they are totally worthless IMO.

True, just like most stats, but its intresting to see how the rest of the league feels about how we are doing.

Espn has us ranked at 21...that's a gift.

Power Ranking is gay
Any team as the ability to win at any gameits the play callin that chooses who gets the W nex to their scedule. Never trust those rankings anythings possible.

Would you feel the same way if we were ranked in the top 3?

The mistakes that our team has demonstrated in the past 3 weeks have gave many writers, media people, etc. reason to believe we're a horrible team. We've scored 33 points all together on offense, which isn't spectacular by all means vs the opposing defenses 54. The total amount of yards we've surrendered in those three games total up to 871 yards (310 rushing) (561 passing) those yards combined avg out to 290 yards/game vs our 969 yards total (289 rushing) (680 passing) which avg out to 323 yards/ game. If you ask me aside from our defense being ranked 7th in the league right now, shows me that we have a legitimate shot at becoming a lot better than we've seemed. Our o-line needs to come together....once that happens, forget about it this team is going to explode and our power rankings will reflect off of that.

Agreed, This team will be great once we get a few of the problems worked out.

people sure cared what others around the league thought about us when they said we were going to the super bowl but now they think we stink..
Basically it really doesn't matter what anyone thinks..No one knows just how good we can be if we get it together.

let me clarify my statement, I dont CARE how they fell, I just find it intresting to KNOW how they feel.

Patience grasshoppers, it will come together. We as dolfans are used to quick starts and fading end of season. So much off-season turnover has created non-continuity(is that a word?) for our offense. The defense to me still looks stout. They will keep us in games until the offense comes along. I guarantee no one will want to play us at the end of the year.:dolphins:

Half way through the season we'll b lyk 5-3 n we'll b lyk top 10 and the power ranking ppl are gonna lick our *****.
