Power Rankings

Prisco and CBSSportsline have us at 18, FWIW. Frankly, these power ranking are pretty worthless, though. The level of play by the Dolphins will determine if we are worthy of respect from the "experts". I wouldn't get too worked up about it if I were you. Hopefully, all the hate and doubt motivates this team to perform and exceed expectations.
 
there all basing it off last years performance. Our new additions and stuff, new offense, you cant really put that in there because you dont know how its going to turn it out, in other words, dont pay attention to power rankings.

Us against the world. If Henne and Sparano needed any extra motivation all the hate being shown to us should work.

It really is.

Until Miami proves they are winners then no one will give them respect in the media. I hate the talking heads but in reality Miami did this to themselves with a decade of bad moves, losing seasons and poor play.

We just went through 2 back to back 7-9 seasons, tried to upgrade our Head Coach and Failed, tried to Upgrade our QB and failed, statiscally picked up an OC with a worse track record.

How do you expect the outisde world to judge us?

Come on guys be realistic....Its more then fair to see us ranked in the bottom tier of the NFL. Most analyst dont see or know that Henne seems to have more confidence this year. Most Analyst dont see or know that Bush and Marshall seems possessed to have a breakout year.

Let them judge because it doesnt matter where your ranked before the season its where you finish that counts.

Most of these hacks are retarded, and don't keep up with the individual teams, to see how they progress thru training camp and preseason.

Honestly, you are best off ignore these types of things, and stick with listening to guys like Matt Williamson, or a few of the NFL network guys who are knowledgeable.
 
All you have to do is read the comments next to each team.....written by an idiot. He put the Jets above the Pats at #6......lost all cred right there

Was just a stupid list, don't pay it any attention. With the whole Orton and Harbaugh crap that went on that is what is on everyone's mind. I for one am more comfortable being the underdog....we always seem to blow when everything is expected of us. Under the radar!!
 
The problem I have is that these guys don't bother to take the time to find out what's going on. Anyone can gloss over last year's results and make general statements. It's just hack reporting and they really don't deserve the platform for their lazy reporting.
 
I have us going 5-11 so 29th sounds about right. Another disapointing season for all you false hope guys.
 
I thought the writeup on Grantland was pretty fair. Based upon what we've done, we should be ranked in the bottom 8, but we have a legitimate shot of making the playoffs if some things fall our way and we play up to our potential.
 
I dunno, I see improvement on both sides of the ball in last year's 17th best team
