I think Folsom, Garner, Nalbone and Hilliard are very strong candidates to be signed to our practice squad on September 6th. Who else? Maybe Louis Ellis?

Mark Lewis, OL
Ryan Baker, DE
James Robinson, WR
Lex Hilliard, RB
J.D. Folsom, LB
Will Billingsley, CB
Louis Ellis, DT
Anthony Armstrong, WR

that's my guess

Nalbone could make the team over Haynos..This is why the Wilford experiment ended sooner than later...

I read that neith of them looks all that great. I think that we will look @ a TE who may get cut from another team to be our 3rd. But for now i say Nalbone will be a PS guy and they keep Haynos till they see otherwise.

Armstrong had his shot, and he blew it. I don't think we keep him around.

Billingsley was the camp whipping boy last year...that carried over to this year. Being on the PS did not help him...I don't see the team wasting time on him again.

Hilliard will get poached if we put him on the PS.

Robinson
Baker
Ellis
Lewis
Folsom
Gardner
2 players to be picked up from other teams

If we are looking only at players from our team, this might be okay.

I think there is a WR that was cut today by the Titans, Dudley Guice, who came out of Northwestern La that I really liked in the draft that I would prefer to James Robinson and in the long term, probably to Armstrong. Now admittedly, I am just going by what I saw of him in all star games and practices, so if he has totally sucked in NFL camp, I will stand corrected.

But he was one of the players I wanted us to draft late or sign as an UDFA, and spend a year or two developing him. He played big in the limited time I saw him.
