practice tweets day 10

Tannehill with 5 INTs in two days. There are several ways to look at this. You'd expect Grimes to pick him off b/c Grimes is a Pro Bowl QB. If Grimes wasn't getting INTs, or Finnegan/any other CB, the worry would be that the secondary is a weak spot. So now it's looking like QB could be an issue b/c of the turnovers.

Either way one unit would get a ton of **** from fans and the media so it's a lose/lose.

Some highlights so far

Moore and tannehill each 2 ints. Finnegan and grimes have caught 2 a peice.

OL doing well in 1 in 1 drills showing improvement

Miller breaking tackles running with authority

Tannehill has 30 yard run on zone read

Calib Sturgis back at practice, Wallace practicing in 11 on 11 drills. Hartline not

Meh if they are practicing certain routes only like yesterday I expect there to be picks. I mean the defense has been seeing our offense for training camp, mini camp etc I would hope the notice certain plays and jump them.

He's learning a new system, the D is better than O and it's practice. I wouldn't worry at all about INTs in practice or even a bad preseason. It's about him getting comfortable w/ the new system and staying healthy. if that happens preseason/camp have been successful for you guys no matter what he does in preseason games or practice.

I agree with Junc. You have to think these QB's are willing to take more chances in practice than they are in games. Picks in practice don't concern me.

T'hill throwing nice downfield passes today...ball has purpose and touch.

Thats good to hear.

Perspective from a Jets fan? My how times have changed.

As Jeff Darlington and Steve Wyche said on Twitter, the Dolphins defense might end up being one of the best units in the league this season.

back to back bad days for the qb...i need to see a td drive from the #1 offense on friday night against the falcons...every time they play the ones on d the results unless it's red zone work are bad...

3 INTs for tannehill. Finnegan with 3 picks now

Sounds like both Moore and Tannehill having rough days, that or Grimes/Finnegan (2 INTs for Grimes 3 for Finnegan) are just balling today.

This is what you like to hear
"Doesn't matter who Branden Albert lines up against today. The left side of the O-line is locked down."

I watched some Seattle Seahawk practice the other day on TV. For an extended period they played 9 on 7 (that's 9 Defense against 7 Offense). They already have a very strong Defense and it was obviously unfair, but there was no condemnation of Russell Wilson for having multiple interceptions. In contrast, all the local tweeters bash Tannehill for his failures. Who said the battles need to be totally fair?

The question becomes were they just bad decisions or what. The thing I get confused by is they are bashing Tannehill (which if they are bad throws is fine), but then right away talk about how awesome of a play it was by Finnegan.
