What kind of numbers do you guys think we will put up this week against Pit.

17-6

feeley finally throws a pass for a touchdown..... only this week it counts for US and the receiver is McMichael

the way our defense played... I feel bad for Big Ben. You dont want to play your first NFL game against us. He is going to get picked off all day long and I dont think Ward, Burress, and Co will have a good receiving day. They should not score a TD

No more AJ "ill spot you 7" Feeley:roflmao:

actually feeley threw a touchdown in his first two games - so i don't think "finally" is a good word there.

I predict the Steelers beat us, 24-17. I believe we finally get an offensive rhythm down and score two touchdowns.... one by mcmike and one by chambers. still think gordon gets held in check due to our OL (which can't be fixed in one week). Mare gets a field goad at some point, and misses another. (predicting mare will go 1-2).

I think Big Ben will NOT have a problem with our D, as he is the best of all the rookie QB's out there. He might throw ONE INT, but it will be from a deflection. He will throw two TD passes, and Bettis/Staley will get one run in... I think Big Ben will put up higher passing yards than feeley does. Feeley will have one INT, but it won't be returned for a touchdown.

this has the makings of an ugly game for both sides, expect another defensive struggle here. I take the Dolphins 20-13. NO SPOTTING TDs this time for AJ Feely. He cost us the game last week!

This is such a hard time to pick Dolphins game. I really really want to say Dolphins but the way the O-Line played last Sunday, I don't see a win for us. So here is my pick:

Dolphins 17 Steelers 12 - If the O-Line improves and gives Feeley and Gordon some time.

Steelers 12 Dolphins 10- If the O-Line plays like it did against Cincy.

It hurts to say it
Steelers 9 Fins 6 :(

The Oline couldnt handle the blitz and now they have to face a 3-4 that causes even more confusion for the Oline. The Steelers dont even have to blitz we couldnt stop Defensive Line stunts against Cinci and they called those the whole second half... and it worked :(

If the OLine plays well we win, but I just dont see it happening. Plus Chester being out hurts even with Timbo being back because the Steelers run the football and will do alot of it with the rookie QB.

Jim Harmon picks Dolphins over Steelers

Hey look, a member of the media picks us to win this weekend.
*Miami 16 Pittsburgh 14 - This one is anybody's guess, because both the Dolphins and Steelers are better on defense than offense, and that usually means a game decided by a crucial turnover or two. The clubs haven't met in six years.

We win a very ugly game. Something like 19-16 or something.

Miami wins big 48-0

Defense shows up big in this one with 6 sacks and forces a couple of key turnovers, special teams records two touchdowns....Oh crap, that's the Hurricanes...My Bad

Looks like the PHINS get there first win this week 17-7 as Wayne visited this week and told Wanny if he doesn't use the &*$%^% shotgun formation this week to utilize AJ's strengths and cut down on the Lines weakness, he's gone.

AJ responds by throwing two TD passes, one to McMichael and the other to Booker. Chambers only catches 3 passes and rumors start to creep in how he is not happy that Jay has been benched. Seems AJ doesn't like the fact that Chris is so darn quiet and doesn't get fired up enough, so he keeps looking McMichael's way. Probably not too smart by AJ, but he will learn with time.
Konrad works his way back in for a couple of nice catches and short gains to keep the drives moving on 3rd down.

Turns out, that throwing to set up the run does help and Gordon finishes with a season high 86 yards on 22 carries as McIntosh fills in well for Turnstile Smith and Vernon Carey sees action late in the third quarter and demolishes the right side of the defensive line at crunch time.

Defensively, Timbo plays only on run situations but helps to stifle the Steelers vaunted run attack and Big Ben gets hurried constantly. He throws two picks, one to Madison who returns it 41 yards to set up Mare's field goal. The other interception is a deflection by Zach on a blitz that lands right into Jason Taylor's hands. Two weeks in a row, can you believe it? At this rate, Jason will surpass Patrick Surtain who can't seem to stay on the field.

Feeley's stats are modest as he is 25-39 with 228 yards and two touchdowns. He does throw one interception, but it was tipped ball by the defensive line and Jeno tackled him, before he could waltz into the endzone. It only cost us 3 points this week. Hopefully, he doesn't keep the picks up or we are back to Fiedler.

Good news, we are now 1-2...Check in next week as we Beat the $#%*!! Jets at home and improve to 2-2 before heading to New England and Upsetting the World Champions as they totally did not think we were up to the challenge!!:shakeno:

See ya, Finatical

Pittsburgh 13-10. Both teams struggle on offense, but Pittsburgh gets its TD after a Miami turnover in its own end of the field. Miami gets its TD late when Pittsburgh goes into its prevent. Olindo misses a kick in the dirt and that's the difference.

yea you right... i knew that i just worded my statement very poorly

let me retry:

Feeley again throws multiple TD's this week....... only both of them are caught by McMichael instead of the pittsburgh secondary.

13-10 Dolphins

Feeley throws two touchdowns, and Mare kicks two field goals. One TD for us, and one TD for the Steelers. Always thinking about others .....that Feeley.
