In Marshall's first "revenge" game against the Dolphins, he may be motivated to show up his old team, even if many of the folks he played for and with are no longer here. M

He presents a special matchup problem for our defense due to his size and strength compared to our short DBs.

I predict a big game for Marshall:

120 yards, 2 TDs

We'll see how much pride our midgets have.

7-140-2 -- With a fumble and a couple of drops.

Two reasons why I think he will have such a big game:

1. Our small cornerbacks will struggle to cover him in the red zone and tackle him after the catch.
2. He will be amped up for this game.

So are we a Chicago Bears fan forum now? Or is this just a residual butthurt thread over trading Marshall away? Maybe a little of both?

not sue how anyone could be mad about trading Marshall esp with what we got back in return. Not to mention he was suspended right after we traded him(oh yea he wasn't lol) I was never a fan of Marshall the person but he was and is a top 10 receiver. Never could deny that.

It's actually more about the state of our own team and the strategy of creating an undersized secondary to cover a league with so many oversized WRs.

Grimes may be a great player, but pairing him with another diminutive DB is a mistake, and I said as much during the offseason.

We created the antithesis of the Seahawks' championship secondary formula.

I don't think the size of Finnagan is the issue. Its just that he is not that good anymore more than anything. The worst thing is outside of Grimes our corners are not good

160, a slew of catches and 3 TD's...it leads to a debate of whether Ireland or Joe wanted to trade him.

Hard to detect but I smell you bull****ting.

Anyway I expect Marshall to have 150 yds and at least 2 TDs.
