i would say 9-6 due to inexperience but after a year or two, i would say 11-5, or maybe even 12-4 (superbowl)

The biggest weakness i see with that line up is the linebackers. the wideouts could be good if ginn/bess/turner/hartline develop into good players and the secondary could be scary good if this years draft class is good. with how competitive the afc east is, expecially with the jets getting mark sanchez, and what we dont really know about chad henne, i see no reason we could win 10 to 12 games with this lineup. i really think henne could be the next tom brady, so it could be even better.

honestly i think Louis Ellis would be an elite DE, if you look at him in mini camp vid, he doesnt have a Dt body, but we will see when the season starts i guess

Alot of the backups on this team play just as much if not more then the starters other then the Oline and Pennington,Porter,Crowder and and our DB's.Them guys are our only true "starters" in the true since of the word.

I know your thinking/talking about two years from now, but who really knows what will even happen this year.

I would say 5-11 if not 4-12 personally. There is no proven good players in the receiving corps. Couple that with Henne throwing to them in his first year of starting and it doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me that we could maintain a consistent passing offense throughout the season. The main factor I see in the difference between my prediction and last years record is the much tougher schedule.

you do have a point about us having a tougher schedule this season but wow...4-11????? no way

I dunno it could be good but in two years I see Y.Bell gone not Gibril Wilson and that is if Clemons actually is what some people here think he can be. Bell is older then Wilson and I actually think Wilson overall as a Saftey is better then Bell and that includes experience and does not have injury problems like Bell does.

Also no way Miami lets a 24 year old up and coming TE leave in Anthony Fasano I do not care how good Nalborne ever becomes u do not let a 24 year old player leave with his hands and talent that he has.

I also look at this lineup and we only have 4 players on defense with more then 3 years of experience. No way that defense would be able to stop the AFC east in its first year it would have a lot of growing pains. When you really look at that roster only our O-line as a whole has any experience in this league.

I would say this year with that line up we end up 2-14 next year 6-10 and then the year after that if everything works out we would be 9-7 or 10-6

You add Gibril and Fasano to this I think we could win a couple of more games.

I'd say 8-8. still got some very solid players but weaknesses too.

I would lean towards 3-5 wins also.
Way to many gambles at too many important positions.
A QB is the most important player in all of sports (maybe a pitcher is more.) Henne is essentially still a rookie. Even though Ryan and Flacco did well last year..they only did well on rookie standards. Look back at the stats, they were not Pennington, the best we could expect from Henne is a Ryan type year. Albeit it would be outstanding, it is not near what Penny did.
Ginn will considered #1 by the defense so the #1 to Bess is irrelevant.
I have no clue about Nalbone.

NT is the most important spot in a 3-4 and having a rookie undrafted DE in there does not bode well.
Our secondary would have a combined 5 years starting experience, with 3 rookies. D-backs take time to develop. Allen was a rock in the secondary last year.

I think you are looking at this through aqua colored glasses. You have to realize experience wins in the NFL. Rookies who make huge impact are the exception, not the rule.
This may work in Madden but not the NFL.
Our O-line looks great though! :)

Edit: Looking back I would actually change it to 2-4 wins at the most.

I see the big difference between 2008 and previous years is that we had a good QB.

Who knows how Henne is going to perform and in this hypothetical you have him as QB. Therefore i've reverted our record back to 7-9, 6-10. Then looking at the schedule you would have to say regardless of the QB we would still have a very hard time beating those teams. Which brings our record down even lower.

why would you stick nalbone in there? & those against this years schedule? lucky to get 6 wins. real lucky.

No way a rookie starts over Gibril Wilson....and Fergie...or Will Allen for that matter, maybe down the road they do, well see...
No love for Penny or Fasano? After they were such a big part of our AFC East Championship?

with our schedule we would look like detroit... maybe we would win A game against buffalo but thats all..

realisticlly i say 9-7 but i dont see that line up as the actual one there is no way Nalbone beats Fasano for the starting job. mayb fasano, martin, naboldone or fasano, naboldone, martin. Also the phins didnt got out and spend money on wilson to sit him on the bench. Ferguson is our NT for this season no way a rookie beats him out of his starting job solai might have a better chance and thats pushing it.
