what do you guys think the marlins record will be this year? what place in the standings?

Not sure about the record, but they will likely be in the basement. You just can't sell the WHOLE team and expect to be competetive. I'm Girardi is asking "Why me?"

You still can't make any predictions for any team because no one is finished with their moves. As far as the Marlins are concerned, if they pick up Gathright and Gomes as opposed to having Aguila, Abercrombie, and Reed sharing time, they will be a significantly better team, 6-8 extra wins. Plus, with the youth they have, no one can possibly predict what output they're going to get.

They're nearly a lock for last place at this point. I'm thinking 55-107 right now.

70-92.

1. Philadelphia Phillies
2. NY Mets
3. Atlanta Braves
4. Washington Nats
5. Florida Marlins

That is how the 2006 NL East is gonna look like. :)

I dont see us winning the East, but i do see us finishing second behind the Braves. The Mets will be 3rd because their 5 billion dollar off-season spending spree will somehow fall apart around August like it usually does, and Washington i think will be decent but just not good enough to compete with some of the stronger NL teams.
