With all these new additions coming in, I thought it would be cool to try and predict who is next on the list of The Tuna to go swimming with fish. I think we will see a couple players get cut and maybe a big name. Here is my list:

David Martin: He did nothing last year and sucks at something Parcells demands from his TE and that is Blocking. There are six other TE on this roster which are all better blockers then Martin. He should have been cut with Worrell and I can wait to see him gone.

Rob Ninkovich: Who is this guy, I didn't see him once at all last year and Inactive half the time. He is also very undersized.Hold Over

Derrick Robinson: Another guy who I see gone, I remember him seeing him play last year and he looked very sluggish.Hold Over

Steve Fifita: Does not fit Parcells mold at DT, very very undersized.

Courtney Bryan: We have a ton of Safeties and this kid will have another oppurtunity somewhere else.

Kevin Smith: I see him out of here as well, He is very slow and we have Torbor,Crowder,Akin at MLB

Now for my dark horse:

Reagan Mauia: Parcells will want to make an example out of him, especially after getting in trouble. The addition of Boomer Grigsby,Lex Hilliard and Rolly Lumballa I can defitnetly see them trying to replace him.

On a final note I wont include him cause he will be released before the season begins, but Jay Feeley days a numbered if Dave Rayner or Dan Carpenter have strong TC.

I think your jumping the gun a bit on Feely and Martin. Its April, and Parcells says its all about competition. Believe it or not, my darkhorse is Paul Soliai. NTs in this system are in the 310-315 range, not 345. Just a thought.

I can definitely see Smith and Myles gone, just because they are way too small and we have added some LBs. But both are good on ST so who knows.

Rob Ninkovich is actually an interesting guy. Drafted pretty early out of Purdue just a couple of years ago, he actually projects as an OLB in this scheme and seems to have what they call 'the makeup'. Hard worker. Tough. Could surprise and make the team over Moses. But again, definitely will stay around until camp IMO.

I have no thoughts on Bryan and Fifita, other than to say if they were pre-TC goners, they would have gone in the last round of cuts.

David Martin is a WR in a TE mold, The guy cant block and is often injured. He is also a little up there in age and will not fit what Parcells is trying to do here.

Parcellls hates kickers, he let go of Vanderjact for Gramatica. Feeley has a big mouth and a big contract in Parcells eyes for a kicker. If Rayner and Carpenter outperform him, Feeley will be gone.

I could see Roth staying around as a backup, but not as an every down starter. Patrick Cobbs is also a goner. I thouht Travis Daniels was gonna be a goner, but we have not signed many CB and he could stick around.

Guys, there is no way a guy like Roth (or even Feely) is cut at this point in the offseason. We're in April! Its one thing if you're talking about Derrick Robinson, but most of the guys you listed will at the very least be given a chance. Thats why you have mini camp. Thats why you have training camp.

PS No question if Carpenter or Rayner outperform Feely they will stick, but you can say that about any position. If Titus Brown outperforms Moses, he'll probably make the squad over him. The guys are going to be evaluated from this point onwards, and may the best men win.

I doubt that Mauia is in the next round of cuts. If we were going to make an example out of him it would have came immediately after his incident.

I never said Feeley would be cut now, but before the season is here he can be traded or cut. You shall see.

I dont doubt it, but because the thread was started on April 28th, I assumed you meant a round of cuts before the first mini camp or something. ANYBODY can lose their job to a more deserving player between now and July. Thats the beauty of it.

predicting cuts gives me a headache this late at night but i would assure you that Parcell's guys well hold precedent over alot of returners from last year, you can see that he's going to cut some dlinemen, maybe a couple olineman too, he's got his type of player in mind, he likes those big bluecollar guys, thats what he drafted too.

I'm with ya with everything except for Feely. If he gets beat out that's one thing, but he doesn't have a 'big mouth.' He's a great person.

What people may mistake for having a 'big mouth' could be that he stands up for himself and his beliefs. Which I guess may cause Parcells to not like him.
