Predicting Miami's W/l - From The Opposition

Just for fun, every year about this time, I go to newspapers or fan forums of the teams Miami opposes and check out predictions. This year, so far, Miami should be 1-13. Can't yet find predictions by papers/fora for the Vikes and Colts. The lone win is a split with the Jets.
A couple of points I find interesting. Almost every team's fan base wears rose-colored glasses this time of year. Accusing Miami fans of being blinded by prejudice is partly true, but ignores the prejudice of fans of 31 other teams. It's called 'optimism' and common to almost all fans. Almost all teams are said to have a shot of the playoffs. (Bills fans are a rare exception.)

I think it's because Buffalo is a depressing place to live and peeps get tired of Niagara Falls (it like never ends)!

It could be worse. Imagine how depressing it would be for them if Niagra Falls just dried up one day. Having a dry falls or a dry lake bed instead of the Falls would be the equivalent of having the Grand Canyon turn into a landfill.

They shut it down in '69 and it may get shut down again next year.
