Predicting the Dolphins Record

I like the logic. If Pittsburgh isn't playing for a higher playoff seed in Week 17, I can definately see us with a W. 12-4 should be good enough without a doubt. I believe the Pats could finish with the same divisional record at 5-1, but 10-2 in conference play would be crazy good.

Sorry, I've got to put myself in the 9-7 or 10-6 crowd. We miss the playoffs...barely. Just like the stars and planets aligned for us last year, I think they will align against us this year. The schedule scares me.

We have a brutal schedule this year and it really worries me. But in the positive side, last year it seemed like we beat all the good team and lost to all the below average ones. Teams are going to be more prepared for us this year now that they now we are contenders. I see us going atleast 10-6 and that is still a stretch i believe. As long as we sweep the Bills and Jets and atleast split with the Pats. I like our chances.

11-5 with losses to New England, Buffalo, Indy, New Orleans, and Houston (they always get Miami).

i love your article but one thing what about Ricky? Ricky came back into league last year. Yeah he is old, but like JT i think Ricky are going to turn some heads too and with a better offense it is certain he we do better with what reps he gets. I want to see super bowl and win. This group of people they can do it and you all know it and just too scared to say it with people we face. Im so sick and tired of this offseason let the dolphins have the last word. GO DOLPHINS!!

I'm not buying this tougher schedule stuff. Last season, how many schedules seemed easier with the 1-15 Fins on it? See what i mean? That being said, 11-5 and the playoffs doesn't seem out of reach.

Why is everybody going................If pitsburgh sits their starter then we might be able to beat them.................If pittsburgh is not playing for a high seed we might be able to beat them.....

I say we gonna kick the living crap off them at full strengh.............Hey, we are a pro football team too. We have improved tremendously. We have a new coaching staff and a couple of years having the tuna and company bring in their type players and added depth through the draft I SEE US BEATING ANYONE.....TAKE THAT TO THE BANK. :)

PS>>>Thee Wild Kat is coming to a theater near you in 2009!!!!!!!!!!AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11-5 again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12 wins or better is highly unlikely. 9 wins or less is also very possible. But I like us in the 10-11 win range.

12-4 The Dolphins won't lose to the Saints after the bye week. The team will be healed and strong and totally prepared to shut down all that TE action that Brees is so good at connecting with.

Bush may get a few long runs or runs after the catch but it won't be enough.

Vontae will outplay Malcolm and it will be Pennington who has his way with a weak Saints secondary and not vice-versa.

I really don't see how we have as tough of a schedule as everyone thinks...

14-2/15-1 easy. Pitt/Pats may get to us, but thats it. Face it. Jags, Bucs, Bills, Jets, Titans, and Colts just aren't as good as a few years ago... even the Saints aren't that great. They don't have a great running back.

Thanks for the great read RD... it is very much appreciated...

Just want to comment on a few games game though...

Against SD and NO, you predicted loses and I can agree with them, but your scores??? I am not in agreement with...

SD and NO you say that they have bad 2ndaries I believe, but we still only score a TD or 2???

and against NE, the first encounter, I have a hunch (not much I know), that they will already have suffered a loss before our game... and Brady will have the "hearing footsteps," syndrome, while getting rid of the ball before his receivers are ready...
