It is all dependent if Gase can work his magic with Ryan.

James Walker, Miami Dolphins reporter: I liked what I saw from Dolphins second-year receiver DeVante Parker this spring. In watching organized team activities, I remember thinking to myself, "Parker looks like a No. 1 receiver for the first time." Parker is playing faster, he's about a year removed from last summer's foot surgery, and you can sense his increased confidence after a strong finish to the 2015 season. Parker was Miami's top deep threat in the final six games of last season, recording 22 receptions for 445 yards and three touchdowns in that span. Parker should pick up where he left off to start this season. Barring injury, Parker is primed to post his first 1,000-yard receiving season.

I loved that TD he scored against Baltimore. Was at the game and in the corner of the EZ where he caught it. Such a thrill. Hope this kid picks up where he left off last season.

DeVante Parker worries me especially w/ the decline of revis though I expect him to be better assuming he is back to full health this year.

He high points the ball really well, something this team has been lacking since Marshall.

Yeah... but.... high point doesn't matter if you can't hold onto the ball.

The Marshall hate has always perplexed me, he's 22nd all time in catches, just imagine if he could hold on to the ball, lol.

I really loved what we saw from DVP last year, I hope he picks up where he left off, and I hope that foot holds out.

Agreed. Wallace was the one that couldn't hold on to the ball unless it fell perfectly into his bread basket.

But, to topic....Very excited to see DvP this year!

A declining Revis is still elite.

Selecting DVP was a safe pick for the reporter. I would rather see someone that is a so-called Dolphins beat reporter tell us about someone that we may not think about right away that is going to rise to the occasion this season and surprise even some of the diehard Dolphans. Perhaps someone on the defense that is going to work his way into a starting position during training camp.

DVP is a special talent - that is why the Dolphins took a chance on him early in the draft knowing his injury concerns. With a stacked WR corps the offense should be able to put up some points. I don't see anyone on the offense as a diva that has to get their pre-determined number of touches each game. I see them more as a young and hungry group that wants to see some success as a team and bring some respect back to the franchise.
