Last year's turnaround wasn't a fluke, and Miami has good enough talent and strong enough coaching to remain a solid contender.
Prediction: 10-6, second in the AFC East.
Steve Wyche
The turnaround team of '08 must prove it wasn't a fluke. A better-than-advertised defense will keep Miami in the hunt.
Prediction: 9-7, second in AFC East
Pat Kirwan
Miami has a better team than last year but the schedule is tougher. The Wildcat should not have the same effect it did in 2008.
Prediction: 9-7, second in AFC East
Bucky Brooks
The Dolphins will find it difficult to match their surprising success from a year ago due to a much tougher schedule.
Prediction: 7-9, fourth in AFC East
Jason La Canfora
Fairly brutal schedule, especially first three weeks. Patriots twice, Steelers, Chargers, Falcons, Titans. Ouch!
Prediction: 9-7, second in AFC East

Thought these were surprisingly fair. Of course, they don't mean a thing, but it's a bit more respect than usual.

Absolutely. I was expecting them to suggest records like 4-12, 5-11 etc. Although their opinions mean absolutely nothing, it's nice to see them acknowledge last season was not a fluke.

I agree. 9-7 sounds about right, but I always think we are going to win every game before it starts.:D

Bills and Jets will not be 8-8 or better. Fins will most likely get 3 of their wins playing these two teams.

Fair predictions, i'd say, but still, nobody ranked the pats worst than the 1st in the division.
But unless the injury bug bites us this year, i think 8-8 would be a worst case scenario.
And also, BB is speaking BS.

I t would rad if we were to start off with one loss then win the rest of the games and finish 1 st in the afc east.

ok its time for another beer.

I was surprised to see them rank us that high, with the exception of this Bucky guy.

I could even accept his 7-9 prediction, but saying we will be 4th in the AFC east, you gotta be kidding me.

Someone should tell this guy that the Jets, Bills, and Pats, all play that same tougher schedule with the exception of 2 games.

Bucky needs to put down the pipe

the Bills look great don't they?:rolleyes2::rolleyes2:

Hmm yeah I was ready to see 5-11 predictions too. Eh, these opinions are still worthless but I guess it's cool to have some respect from some guys.

My wife got me a Lindy's mag rag over the weekend while at the lake with crappy weather out. I read alot of stuff and looked at alot of roster's in depth.

I say we have more depth than most teams in the league by far. Starting with the Patsies. Its unreal. The only ILB they have right now is Jerod Meyo. Thats it. welcome back Junior! tough schedule? I think Brady surviving the season with tough teams like Baltimore and the violent Jets D twice is enough to kill Brady. :) tough schedule...its a laugh. Yet Im sure they completely forgot that Atlanta has an even tougher schedule but since no one is allowed to say a bad thing about Matty Ice, well, that just translates into easy W's. Its rediculous with predictions. When the fun begins, the predictions start to fade quickly.
