Prediction: Patriots 24, Dolphins 23
Comment: Strange to say, the Dolphins match up well with the Patriots' injury-riddled defense and offense-in-flux. If it was in the South Florida sun, I'd pick them. As it is, this will be closer than expected.

Prediction: Patriots 31, Dolphins 20
Comment: The Dolphins are headed to New England at the wrong time. The Patriots are angry after losing last week in a controversial manner and Tom Brady has not thrown a touchdown pass in two of the last three games.

Prediction: Patriots 28, Dolphins 24
Comment: Even though this is the weakest New England team the Dolphins will face since the 2008 season, Tom Brady is still the human kickstand, and will keep the Patriots propped up. Rob Gronkowski is back and the Dolphins still haven’t figured out how to stop a decent tight end.

Prediction: Patriots 23, Dolphins 20
Comment: Remember when the Dolphins were 3-0 and looking good atop the AFC East? That was a while ago. The Patriots got Rob Gronkowski back, but Tom Brady struggled. The difference in this game - the Patriots will find a way to win.

Prediction: Dolphins 28, Patriots 24
Comment: The Dolphins will win one of the next two games (at New England, vs. Cincinnati). Guaranteed. Just wasn’t sure which one. Flipped a coin. It’s the Patriots.

Prediction: Patriots 19, Dolphins 13
Comment: Yes, Ryan Tannehill has been sacked 26 times this season -- and that erodes a quarterback’s sturdiness both physically and mentally -- but on Sunday he was absolutely blasted by Mario Williams in a way he hadn’t so far. The Dolphins are playing a down Patriots team, but the Tannehill situation has become worrisome. Don’t want him to be the next Jim Everett, throwing off his back foot.
