Prediction: Patriots 24, Dolphins 23
Comment: Strange to say, the Dolphins match up well with the Patriots' injury-riddled defense and offense-in-flux. If it was in the South Florida sun, I'd pick them. As it is, this will be closer than expected.

Prediction: Patriots 31, Dolphins 20
Comment: The Dolphins are headed to New England at the wrong time. The Patriots are angry after losing last week in a controversial manner and Tom Brady has not thrown a touchdown pass in two of the last three games.

Prediction: Patriots 28, Dolphins 24
Comment: Even though this is the weakest New England team the Dolphins will face since the 2008 season, Tom Brady is still the human kickstand, and will keep the Patriots propped up. Rob Gronkowski is back and the Dolphins still haven’t figured out how to stop a decent tight end.

Prediction: Patriots 23, Dolphins 20
Comment: Remember when the Dolphins were 3-0 and looking good atop the AFC East? That was a while ago. The Patriots got Rob Gronkowski back, but Tom Brady struggled. The difference in this game - the Patriots will find a way to win.

Comment: The Dolphins will win one of the next two games (at New England, vs. Cincinnati). Guaranteed. Just wasn’t sure which one. Flipped a coin. It’s the Patriots.

Prediction: Patriots 19, Dolphins 13
Comment: Yes, Ryan Tannehill has been sacked 26 times this season -- and that erodes a quarterback’s sturdiness both physically and mentally -- but on Sunday he was absolutely blasted by Mario Williams in a way he hadn’t so far. The Dolphins are playing a down Patriots team, but the Tannehill situation has become worrisome. Don’t want him to be the next Jim Everett, throwing off his back foot.

Comments?

Jordan gets major playing time. He and Wake cause nightmares for Bradybunchen.

We double press Gronk.

Tanney has one of his good games.

Dolphins 27 - Patsies 17

I think Steve Svekis' final score prediction is about right from what I've seen of both teams.

No way is this game close tomorrow. Move on to Halloween to save the season. The Buffalo lose was huge.

I think it ends up in the 28-24 range for score, with NE winning. Gronk has just an ok game but scores. They pound us on the ground.

There is no part of the game I feel confident in comparing to the Pats. I think they can pound out the run game. We have no answer for a TE catching passes. Amendola is tough in the slot. Brady is a proud champion that is due to come up big. They have good edge rushers. While they struggle to stop the run, McKinnie subbing in makes the line not as good at run blocking. They will out muscle Mike Wallace all day. Heck, they are excellent in the punt return game.

I am not sure what I have seen out of Miami to think that they can win let alone compete in this game.

It's pretty ridiculous that I actually find myself kind of agreeing with this sentiment, but I do. This team folded up like a cheap aluminum chair last week and I expect the same again this week.

Where is the "special" element to this team? The Jason Taylor that would come up with huge plays when things looked bleak? Or big Sam Madison pick at a huge moment to silence the crowd. Just too bad.

Last time I checked, Dion Jordan is sitting on the damn bench most of the game.

Steve Svekis nailed it when he said RT took a hit from williams he hasnt seen all season.

Philbin and his team will not lose 4 in a row. The Dolphins will come out on fire this week when no one gives them a chance and beat up on their nemesis. The Defense will play their best game of the season and put constant pressure on Brady all day. Gronkowski will get his yards but it won't matter. Tannehill will play mistake free football while the Dolphins commit to the run and have success against a weakened Patriots front. Wallace will have a big day with close to 100 yards and 2 TDs.

Dolphins win this one 27 - 16 shocking the football world.

Would love for this. Not sure if Wake isnt 100% this will happen. TO get to brady you need to Blitz him all the time. Get Wake & Jordan messing with his head. Why Pick a guy at 3 and not use him.

I no longer see the Pats blowing any team out. This will be a great game.

That is what I call a BOLD prediction, guaranteeing a Dolphins win. Lol.
