Preseason or Not: 9 penalty's...only 10 first downs

When your penalty's almost equal the amount of first downs you have in a game.......it's gonna be a loooooooooooong season. Even longer than what some of us more pessimistic people were expecting.

Can we just cut BOTH Beck and McCown as they both suck. Go with Pennington and Henne then pick someone up off the scrap heap if needed. And we have no WR's worth anything. They all are terrible.

no,...........just cut some players. The GM and Vice President aren't sucking on the field. And most of the guys that suck (Beck, Hagan, ...etc) they didn't bring in
 
Hagan is going to be the perennial tease. He'll look great in practices and then drop everything and not fight for the ball on game day
 
MikeO I am with you....it was a lttle disappointing...I did like some the new guys (Long, Henne, Langford, Merling) but the builk of the tem is really really bad. Guess that is why we were 1 and 15 last year...it will be a while I am afraid

You know what. For some reason I never considered that but, its not a bad idea at all. Lets get Chris Simms for a 7th rounder and send Chainsaw Charlie and the 40 year old virgin John Beck packing.

It's the first pre-season game. They will get better. You can't give up on the 1st game. ;)

Parcells definately wasnt joking when he said he had like 4 players or however many he said last year. Alot of these Saban/Cam picks really, really suck.

I cant believe I started falling for the Hagan hype again. Beck blows. This whole team needs made over. At least we have a good start on some stuff. Its been a great offseason for Parcells. He has gotten alot of good players for one offseason. Plus we got Ricky back and running strong. He will be the best player we have this year.
 
the bucs are a very good defensive team, they always have been. Its way to early to throw all our WRs under the bus.

Besides, it doesnt matter how they're doing right now or even at all this season. The guys who suck will be gone at the end of the year, simple as that. We're not winning any super bowls this year, we're just going to have to accept the fact that miami isn't that talented all around and that its going to be a rough season.
 
Ginn isn't a major concern. if we use him the way the Bears use Devon Hester or Pitt/Skins have used Randel El he can be a viable weapon. Look, this group didn't take him at #9. He's here. He ain't going no where. So just play to his strengths and move on.

Wilford is horrible. Hagen blows. That is where the real issues are!!!
 
Wilford better get the lights on quick, I wouldn't be surprised if we axed him at the 53-man cut if he keeps up with these shenanigans.
