Our 1st pre-season game is now less than a week away. Now lets say the starter is going to be Beck followed by McCown then Henne. How much playing time do you think each will see? I know the starters usually play 1-2 series' but at this point we don't know who the starter will be. Do you think each player will see about equal playing time or...

I think for this first preseason game, Sparano will try and divide the snaps evenly. I think he will try and do this, because he really does want to name his starting QB sooner, rather than later.

I do believe, he will name his starter for the regular season after the Jaguars preseason game.

I think they want to talk a long hard look at each QB so I wouldn't be surprised to see each guy get about a half over the next 3 games as the "starter".

The only real wildcard is how much time Henne will get. Originally I don't believe he was though of as a serious contender to start, but with the struggles of Beck and McCown and his rspectable play, I think the organization will give him a shot at winning the starting spot.

Edit: This is based on my assumption that no one steps up and becomes the clear cut favorite over the next week or two.

Assuming we stay with three quarterbacks, we will get to see more of each of them than other teams do of theirs. This should be a good thing.

i would like to see henne get the most time bc i think he has the most potential and i want to see what he can do. it sounds like beck and mcown are doing good, so let the rook play and grow

I think Henne should be the 3rd QB against the Bucs to try and build some confidence against the Bucs future truck drivers. If He looks good I'd make him the 2nd or the starter for pre-season week 2.
